Scottish Cup 2016 - our defence of the trophy!
Just out of interest, Astra are currently top of the Romania League: http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/association=rou/domesticleague/standings/index.html We may have been disappointed but we can be extremely proud of our debut in Europe.

The Sheep the Sheep the Sheep are on fire!
Ewe had to be there to witness this masterpiece of a distraction.

Inverness CT -V- Aberdeen
Willie Collum gave Aberdeen a late penalty at Pittodrie when the ball was subsequently shown to hit Devine on the chest. Presumably the Aberdeen players appealed too easily!!! And, we certainly remember Considine's push on Foran with 5 minutes to go in the League Cup Final. We still have a big relegation fight on our hands but that result helped us temporarily. Certainly dented Aberdeen's European Cup dreams for the while. Of all the nights to have roadworks on the A96 just east of Tesco, last night was not the best unless you lived locally.

Scottish Cup Draw
Who's job is it to screw up the balls?

Good Luck Ross County in the Cup Semi
Well, someone had to say it. It would be fantastic if another Highland team reached a final and indeed wrecked Celtic's annual right top a treble.

Ex-ICT players' news
A certain Ryan Christie made his debut for Celtic late on against St Johnstone.

Scottish Cup 2016 - our defence of the trophy!
Motherwell is a massively tough game if we beat Stirling - unlikely to score from the half way line again!!

Ex-ICT players' news
English (and Welsh) FA Cup - Swansea beaten by Oxford United and ex-ICT player - Alan Curtis' side felt aggrieved at Oxford's leveller - Alex MacDonald tumbling without any real contact from Kyle Bartley - but the challenge was reckless and epitomised the muddled nature of some of Swansea's play.

Team for Kilmarnock
Stokes is more likely to start than Roberts so a 4-3-3 formation against a team who did brilliantly against St Johnstone but who have three suspensions this Saturday.

Caption Competition
'Storey buoy, sorry Stokesy bouy, you love scoring in Inverness - your first goal for Falkirk was in a 1–0 victory on 19 September 2006 in the Scottish League Cup, and then on 21 October two more goals against Inverness. We've got guys like Aaron and Richie who can talk your lingo but we will organise a translator for you with Garry Warren.'

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Devine was booked against Aberdeen for protesting his innocence and showing the linesman a brown round shape on his chest which he claimed was the shot from Goodwillie that he had allegedly handled.

Miles Storey latest
“I think my loan agreement ends on January 9th and a lot of times things happen on the last day, so it will probably be the case again. “But the Stirling Albion game could be my last one for Inverness, although I hope it’s not.''

Goal 1,500...coming soon!
Ex Par Chris Smith is the Stirling keeper - what chance he plays the game of his life?

New Year Derby
We've had pictures of Ross County Air, Ross County Holidays, but has anyone seen Ross County TV?

Aberdeen -V- Inverness CT
Under the laws of the game there is no such thing as a soft penalty. Quinn bundled into Draper. Towards the end of the game Collum gave Aberdeen successive corners. Neither seemed to touch ICT players before going out. Despite two free corners, Aberdeen supporters then chanted 'you don't know what you are doing' which summed up Collum's performance for a lot of the second half. Scotland did not qualify for Euro 2016 but they will have Willie Collum representing the country..............wonder what Jacqueline from Celtic would say to that!! However, a great performance from the team. Roberts will be like a new signing when he gets back up to speed. Last year 'nil' points from the Dons - this year 4 from 6. Hamilton away tomorrow is actually a massive game for us. We must not underestimate them.

Game V Aberdeen on Boxing Day
Please Santa help us get three vital points. The Dandy Dons are massively confident that come 5 pm they will be back at the top of the league which they feel is their right to win. Thanks Santa.

Scottish Cup 2016 - our defence of the trophy!
Without losing sight of the first defence, Stirling are actually on a very good run of form currently. Let no one get distracted from the fact that we have in recent years struggled against teams in other leagues let alone our own!

Scottish Cup 2016 - our defence of the trophy!
I recall being in Stirling when Inverness Caledonian took a beating after eliminating the 'Championship' leaders in the previous round? 1989-90 2 GALA FAIRYDEAN A 2-2 2r GALA FAIRYDEAN H 4-1 3 AIRDRIEONIANS A 2-2 3r AIRDRIEONIANS H 1-1 (Inverness Caledonian won 5-4 on penalties) 4 STIRLING ALBION A 2-6 So no more Mr Nice Guy Yogi - we do not want to do a St Johnstone and lose the first defence of the trophy and underestimate this team.
-
Contract Situation
Stokes said he is more interested in playing than money - maybe he could buy out his contract at Celtic and rejoin Yogi.

Dani Lopez
Do you know the specific case likely to be put to the player? Until the referee's report is received, and to ensure a fair hearing, the player will get a chance to argue his case with legal or other representation. I believe that this club is fair, will listen, will take specialist advice, and in the end take the right decision based on the player's contract. There will of course be a right of appeal by the player, but not by the club, if the decision is not one accepted by the player. Does anyone remember this legal case? http://www.theguardian.com/football/2004/jun/22/newsstory.sport3 Let's move on and see if we can repeat the result on grass this Saturday without a player who at times actually looked interested in the game at Motherwell when recalled to the team.

Owain Fon Williams
Fantastic news for Owen - looked a bit exposed as Arjen Robben raced through for the goal.

Yogi's Contract
An agent can be a solicitor offering simple employment law advice.

Yogi in trouble. Been stealing picnics again.
What a week for integrity? Oldco Rangers confirmed as involved in massive multi million pound tax evasion. Rangers newco to retain various titles obtained by Oldco Rangers during the dark years (subject to possible appeal in the tax case but if not, SFA revisiting its rules to check if massive tax evasion is a reason to take a sporting integrity decision). Yogi disciplined for being honest.

League Cup - 2015/16
Ross County start clear favourites. Roy has invested heavily in the club in the last 12 months so this will be a massive challenge for us.
