  1. Disappointed Goodwin is not playing against us - he always offers us the chance to play against 10 men!
  2. Billy could easily go on a goal scoring run. A quick second half hat trick against Hamilton would get him going again after his solitary SPFL goal against them in the opening game.
  3. I think Billy should be rested. He needs a break. He needs a focus. Christie needs time out too. Bring back Aaron and play Marley through the middle. Both Billy and Ryan from the bench offer opportunities if we can prevent Celtic racking up 5 quick goals!! We all remember how Denzil responded to being dropped. Billy would have massive hunger if he came on for 30 minutes and the scores were level.
  4. Supercaley.....................brilliant achievement but keep it going!
  5. You can do it. Your time has come and Inverness looks to your first International goal.
  6. And Duncan is now built like a big ginger Highland Coo!
  7. McFadden says he is looking for a new club if some one asks...................why don't we ask him if he would be prepared to fit into our wage structure and play on a performance related basis like the rest of the squad?
  8. Partick will expect to win 10-0 now!! Billy must surely start scoring for Northern Ireland soon and with the window closed, he is bound to start scoring for us soon too. Here's hoping but Partick are a tough team this season.
  9. Might now be played at the Mike Ashley Arena. A difficult place to go.
  10. Hibs News ''The club can also confirm that midfielder Owain Tudur Jones has been released from his contract by mutual consent. The Wales internationalist, 29, joined Hibernian at the end of May 2013 and recorded 19 appearances during his stay at Easter Road. Everybody at the club would like to wish Owain all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his career. Jones’ departure concludes Hibernian’s activity within the summer transfer window.''
  11. Butcher's career as a manager is over........................
  12. The first time in five games that Adams has been quiet. Sitting at home yesterday with his dad and cat, Staggiepuss, he thought 'How would I have explained a 4-0 defeat? I would have blamed Mark Brown for failing to save 2 easy penalties. Mark may have only saved one penalty in his professional career, but those were easy ones to save if you dive the right way and get down. On Monday I told the boys to watch Martin Canning. Well they certainly watched him score!! And that old carthorse Jason Scotland, where was Frempah? We play a player called Dingwall and he was no where near Scotland. And Celcer? Alka by name, effervescent by nature. Brittain takes a penalty, Alex Salmond could have done better. The referee - Willie Collum - even the Scotsman described him as 'the ever over-officious''........................................................''Dad, what should I have said? Dad where are you when I need you? I bet those irritating so and sos over the Bridge will parody me again....''
  13. Some great play and I was pleased we had great support for the team. The home crows was very POSITIVE yesterday!! Great to see Aaron play well despite a bloody nose though someone advised him it was modest compared to ones at Johnny Foxes. Thought Drapes was very good at the back. It gives us another option. I wonder if he might make a good centre forward when we need to change tactics? Tansey and Meekings both seem skilled at the long ball. On the basis Christie drops to the bench against Partick, we should have a very fast pair of wingers support Billy. Hopefully the international break will help him come back and we can chant 'Billy McKay, he scores when we want!' He is due to start scoring once the transfer window closes.
  14. The share issue closes on the 18th September (interesting date?) so things could be nervy around Ibrox. It could make the players massively determined if Administration looms again. Early days, a difficult game.
  15. I believe it will be Christie and Foran as their next dream team.
  16. Now own up, which ICT poster is behind this? https://twitter.com/DerekAdams1929
  17. I feel dreadful for starting this thread!!
  18. Clearly under a lot of pressure because the equaliser came from de loo!!!
  19. What is sure is that Kilmarnock will pose a bigger threat than Celtic this weekend. Then we have even harder games. It is one challenge at a time. Celtic will win this league by 20-30 points. It is impossible to compete with a club of their stature over 38 games.
  20. Adams, who is writing a book on the Basics of Football Management, said: "I think Dundee United have stolen the three points. '' "We've had two open goals and not taken them.'' "It's been the story of our season that when we haven't taken our chances the other team have scored.'' "They scored against the run of play after Scott Boyd lost his man and then our keeper Antonio Reguero did a bad punch for the second goal.'' '' But it's not the end of the world.'' "We just need one win to get our season going.'' This is the second week in a row that Agent Requero has helped them lose. Next week it's your turn Agent Brown.
  21. Derek Adams, the only Manager in Britain who could sign a player called Klok, and not make him tick. What was your excuse today?
  22. Brilliant. Celtic are looking to sign a whole range of new players because they really want this year's SPFL Championship. Kilmarnock will be much tougher opposition next weekend. They look a dangerous side.
  23. Some good news at last for County. Will he be batting for them in Dundee this weekend? Joking aside, that is a remarkable score and one even Graham Watson would salute.
