Surely if they are going down that route then they run a ST holder ballot and offer the sub 500 seats? Football is nothing without fans and treating the ST holders with that kind of disregard may have a longer term negative impact.

First major English game affected, we know the Scottish authorities are just sheep so just copy everything from the EPL - I expect it wont be long before all Scottish games will be off or behind closed doors. Probably wouldn't book any travel in advance for the rest of the month unless its refundable folks.

Queen if the South: 3 Arbroath: 1 Partick Thistle: nil and wont look like we are capable Dundee: 3 Scraping a max of 7, but more probable a draw with Dundee too making it only 5 - so continuing our inconsistent run of doing enough to remain best of the rest while simultaneously trying to throw 2nd place away to anyone else in the league.

When you consider some of the charlatans involved in Scottish clubs over the last 20 years, he would be a beacon of honesty and clean money!!!

Given our levels of attendance and lack of atmosphere (other than the Wethers wrappers) its probably going to feel like nothings changed if 'closed doors' was envoked. I'd be worried whether our finances will stretch to hand sanitiser and bog roll given the inflated values such that we would be able to meet guidelines to open the doors to fans!!! Who'd have thought a few months ago the Coll compensation might only equate to a 24 pack of quilted bog roll and a few bottles or Carex!!!

Big ask, but you are right - 2 games in hand plus DUtd to visit Inverness could in theory have it down to 7 points to make up over the remaining 8 fixtures. DUtd have hit a bit of a sticky patch but the likelyhood of a collapse of this nature is unlikely, but hopefully Robbo is using this as a motivation for the team to at least give it their best shot. We haven't really put enough games away early or been sparking this season with more often grinding out results which in itself will take a physical and mental toll on the players.

Fairly large 'away' support given the competition and conditions - probably would have been more if the zombie senior game hadn't been moved to the Sunday - an indication of the difficulty ICT has to entice home fans when there is such a local number of OF followers. Ref was very poor as were his assistants. Its ironic the media and fans (zombies) complain there is a bias against them yet never acknowledge the sheer influence they have playing anyone else. Pleased with the result and performance given teh conditions and it feels like we have done our wee bit (again) for the whole of Scottish football and maybe even humanity slaying a zombie uprising!!!!

Or perhaps RC have players better than us hence why they have poached our best talent and are relitavely comfortable in the league above which will likely continue given the strengthening they completed in the Jan window? Polar opposites to ICT, when it was only a wk ago folks were creaming themselves about (the highly unrealistic scenario of) wanting BM back on loan from RC..............

Tin pot defence to concede 4 or 5 and dykes to cigar the while game? Sorry but on current form and personel given the departures and injuries coupled with our lack of goals at the other end anything other than a drubbing will be a good result.

Time to start recouping the youth investment. More will go in the summer so it'll be smart lower league guys who are hungry for success and our home grown kids. The children are our future.

You completely miss the point a striker has to a) bang in the goals with reliable regularity or b) provide an outlet to bring others into the game and provide assists for teammates. He does neither well enough to suggest he anything other than an average Championship level forward - and no matter how many stats go up a return of 10 in 25 or 11 in 28 means even if we did get promotion he isn't good enough to step higher up. Hence why he's only even kicked around the lower leagues.
-
Regardless of whether a striker scores 30 goals last season and none this or vice-versa - unless they are consistent and averaging 1 in 2 then its classed as a poor return, there are exceptions for players who create and act as great foils such as Sutton or Sheringham etc - but this is the general expectation. Its clear over the last few seasons the JW is not a top striker and while the constant defence is applauded, he will never be remembered (on current stats and performances) as an ICT great and unlikely to even make the top 10 or 15 over our history - regardless of the numbers presented. What we have at the club are 2 players who are probably better goal scorers in Toddy who never seems to get a run of games and Storey who never gets played through the centre or given chances in what (from history) was his best position. While Robbo persists with the Scottish football hoof-ball approach this will not change, regardless of JW being duff in the air we will continue to punt high balls to him, either from the backline or poor quality crosses from players played as wingers but with limited end ball product. In the past with a player like Foran, Ofere, Oakley, Fisher etc we may have stood a chance for knockdowns to the likes of Doran or Keatings but now we don't. Either the players ignore the instructions to play the ball to JW feet or our tactics don't consider playing to the strengths of our players. During training does JR see something we don't and JW dominates the defenders hoping one day that's a role he can perform in games (if so perhaps that raises questions around the quality of the defenders or effort in training or why its just no happening for JW).

Doubtful we will be playing random players at CB - a player will likely come in before the window shuts. Discusions on strikers that play (as regular starters) with Premiership teams is pointless - RC will not loan BM as its pretty likely they will be selling Stewart, with CB a priority unless Robbo gets to use any of the money that has come in to agree the SS early then I expect the forward line up will remain unchanged. No sure why anyone is shocked by the movements as its been known for the season how many contracts were expiring, its a sign of how poor our front or creative players are that nobody has moved for them (yet).
-
OMG. The Jan window is sending folks into meltdown ?
-
McCart will go, as will Rooney and maybe others yet too. Robbo will say what he knows the fans want to hear (its sensible management) but also knows the club position and money talks. Replacement will be a numbers game of like for like - I'm sure since the contract discussions moved forwards the club are working hard on a CB and possibly an RB. Sadly I think some other teams have done better business than us so far, but there may yet be deadline day activity to come.

Saints agreed a deal with the Dons for Kennedy so they will have some cash now so this may not be over yet!!!
-
That alone should be enough for there to be zero credibility to the idea, closely followed by support from Gerrard, Lennon or El'del
-
Assumption would be if the Dons agree a deal for Kennedy then StJ will get McCart now. I expect if that happens Robbo may use the Levien links to try get out of favour player(s) from Hearts - Berra may be one. CT - where do you get your rumors and links for players from. Some of them are golden and a good laugh - but none have credibility.
-
Explain? It clearly states in the press release put forwards by the club ' aimed at small to medium size businesses ' with the claim ' The benefits of the various levels of the ICT25 far outweigh the actual costs for those who take up a Membership'. The club has has made the claim - why not detail what those are?
-
It would be an interesting statistic how many ST holders make every game a season but the benefits you talk about mean spending more to get a small % back (not everyone wants to spunk out more on hospitality food, drinking at the bar or merchandise). Plenty ST holders around me cant make every game and many probably only manage 50-70% for various reasons, including TV and rescheduled midweek games among some. Start doing promos regular and I'm sure many will look at the economics and decide PATG is better so they can get those free deals too - so how does that help the club?
-
Decent draw, maybe not glamour but definitely one we can win - then its just one step away from another Hampden trip. A good cup run is catch-22, it builds confidence and keeps players sharp while adding a few quid, but obviously we dont want a schedule with too many games incase we reach the play-off's (we still have another game (or 2) in the choccie wafer biccy cup). If we can avoid replays and ridiculous Scottish football scheduling (where you go months with no midweek games only to end up at the tail of the season with 4 games in 10 days etc) we should be ok and between the wafer cup & later stage league games hopefully we can squad rotate to spread game time and keep key players rested when needed.
-
Also critically what are the benefits of investing into ICT25 as a business (or individual) would be. It's fine indicating an initiative but people read that feel positive then switch off again as its not got the details available - as a business owner if it states investment benefits outweigh costs - whats planned, is it advertising, free hospitality, exclusive member only events. As with any investment what is on offer as a return must be transparent otherwise its dismissed (or just another donation in this case).
