i reckon someone had nicked the wee stool he stands on to see in the mirror when shaving.
  3. Marginally preferable to Mondays but Saturday at 3.00PM is football time. :008:
  4. The latest fae Tanny....... 'Craig Levein has been given 90 minutes to turn Dundee United's season around after crunch talks with Chairman Eddie Thompson. Since penning a two and a half year deal a little more than 24 hours ago, the crisis hit club are STILL rooted to bottom spot and staring relegation in the face and Thompson won't hesitate in weilding the axe. Should the terrors fail to take any points from Sunday's game against Rangers, the newly-appointed Harry Potter lookalike WILL be given the boot. Jim Jeffries has already agreed to take charge in time to face his old club, Kilmarock in two weeks time and if Utd get scubbed, Paul Sturrock will take the reigns. Failing that, the winner of the 50/50 draw will manage the club each week until further notice :015:
  5. Quote fae the Peterhead website "In light of recent rumours surrounding the club, Peterhead FC would like to take this opportunity to confirm that the contracts of management team Iain Stewart and Paul Mathers have been terminated with immediate effect. At this stage the club cannot comment further, however there is to be a press conference this evening at Balmoor Stadium." :010:
  6. Eh'd be quite pleased if he makes a success of the Dunfy job,as you say expectations are not so unrealistic , speshly if it was at the expense of the Arabs, how ironic would that be?.The main problem down Tannadice street IMHO is not the managers who have come and gone but ET's interferance and appalling attitude to anyone who doesn't agree with him.To withdraw someone held in the esteem of Jim Macleans privellage pass for his comments in the Record (albeit badly timed) is unbelievable and will cause further dissent and disharmony doon the sticlebrick Bring on the derbies next season...... :001:
  7. Very magnanimous Mannie and i personaly thought he was a decent spud (for an arab)when he was up here, however he's a big boy and made the decison himself, if all had gone well he'd have happily taken the plaudits that go with success, conversely he has to take the flak that opposition fans love doleing out in adversity.
  8. Always felt it would end in tears, hope it disnae go as catastrophicly wrong as oor misadventure :007:
  9. I'll be along L_G, hope nae body picks on me for being an ootsider!!

:003:.....but joking apart, when Maime voiced her concerns about FBO's i felt initially she was overreacting and the police would use this power for the betterment of conditions for the general well behaved supporters and only serious neds and trouble makers would have anything to worry about, after seeing the reaction on Saturday to what was patently obviously juvenile celebration without a hint of any malice and the smallest perpetrator being earmarked for arrestiing and removal , I,m not so sure now.

"hmm i was looking at the dundee game", Cardinal sin Young_Tomo,bit like me coming down to Manchester and saying it's just United that play here eh? Dundee United are the wee team that bring up a pishy support,Dundee are the big team fae that city (we're just having a bad 30 year spell) sure you know how that feels as a City fan eh? :004: anyway's ejoy yer trip up , the locals are a good bunch and affy friendly, shouldn't think you'll get any bather up here :003:
  15. Nae danger, eh heard raith were ambitious to succeed :001:
  16. It's on the beeb now so must be true eh,unless they read it here last night..... Levien in at Pars
  17. Levien going to Dunfermline, getting in before Yenited eh reckon.
  18. :015: :015: and marginally warmer!
  19. commentator fae Pittodrie yesterday re Proctor:- " Proctor's on a different planet to everyone else on the pitch. He can't pass, can't defend and doesn't seem to know where he is or what he's doing." Eh'd be shect scared to move if eh was one of your lads,Bobby Manns the only ane to leave and go on to succeed :001:
  20. Chick Young said on the radio that "brewsters record was the worst since Blacklace brought out Aga Doo"! :015: no that eh'm gloating mind
  21. Heilandee replied to a post in a topic in Caley Thistle
Eh mentioned this in my thread earlier, dinnae get me wrong true jaggy , you's were oot of order going on the pitch , but the polis handling of it was WAY over the top, i confronted the polis who were taking the wee guys details after the game,he justified it by the chief constable being in attendance and all people going on the pitch were to be dealt with severely.Dont let it dampen your enthusiasm , but stay aff the pitch
  22. IMHO the denial of a deffo penalty seemed to get the crowd and the team up for the game and when the ref didn't play the advantage and ICT scored they really seemed to go for it from that point.
  23. What a great game ,from a neutrals (with a wee bit bias) point of view,Falkirk were way ahead in the first hour( Latapy was blinding) and meh dismayed wee lad commented they could have been 3 or 4 up as Charlie came up with his inspired substitutions. What a transformation,i thought they'd do affy well to salvage anything, to take all 3 points was immense :clapping04: any one still say CC's no the man for the job.Well done all at ICT,great entertainment Was dismayed at the polis heavy handedness at the over exuberance of some youngsters when the 3rd goal went in, huckling out one wee lad like he was a drunken hooligan :008:
  24. No good ever came of agreeing with IHE :001:
