  1. Yes another good win today after an even first half Same again on Boxing Day.
  2. Before I ask "which one", could someone confirm that that's George Junior rather than Dougie behind George Senior? I think it's "young" George but both Messrs Rodgers, whoever the younger one is, indeed do look very happy - and rightly so. It's a good book on Clach in which I think Rodwill Clyne may also have had at least a hand. I'm guessing the photo may be of the celebrations after Clach winning the Highland League title in 1975. There's an interesting post script to that, beacuse the League Flag, normally raised on the first day of the season at home, wasn't raised in 1975 at Grant Street until into September which is a fact I stumbled across purely by accident a few weeks ago. The key to this mystery is possibly in who Clach's opponents were that day. Beacuse the away team was none other than Caley and my theory is that the Clachers delayed the ceremony until they had the opportunity to perform it right in the faces of their neighbours and local rivals! I was referring to George senior. Believe that is young George behind but, like yourself, not entirely certain. That is young George behind he must be old George now! He ran the shop on Grant St at the time and it is his son who I think is also George that runs it now.
  3. I know of 4 supporters, 3 Caley and 1 Thistle who never went back to a game while I would have prefered Caley to have gone it alone ICT were and are still ahead of our shadows and have a Premier Team to follow which is great for the youngsters of Inverness and surrounding areas. You are right in saying quite silly, they are the ones that are missing the great football now!
  4. You are sounding like Derek Adams! A great comeback well done to get a point from United Who is sounding like Derek Adams? I am in another country with no access to any comentary or video or such like so I asked a question on here. I'll rephrase it so you may understand better. Why was there five minutes added on? Did someone get injured or what? Sorry Alex it was not a serious comment should have put this in.

  7. For the guys who have been complaining, keep singing and making lots of noise but take care! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-20714652
  8. Think it was the old newspaper it was wrapped in! Aye and the extra salt and watery vinegar, fish supper, pickled onion all for under a bob. I was a pickled egg man myself, and I remember wipeing my greasy hands on the old newspaper before throwing it in the bin and when you got home your hands were all black! I think it was about 2/6 in my day from Charlies.
  9. Didn't watch it couldn't care less about Celtic! ICT can do without any so called fans who throw smoke bombs or anything on to the pitch, shouting and singing like last night always welcome!

    Jokes

A couple were Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve and the whole place was heaving, packed with other last minute shoppers. Walking through the shopping centre the surprised wife looked up from a window display and noticed her husband was nowhere to be seen. She knew they had lots still to do and she became very upset. She rummaged in her handbag and found her mobile phoned then used it to call her husband to ask him where he was. The husband in a calm voice replied: "Darling, you remember the jewellery shop we went into five years ago, where you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we could not afford and I told you that one day I would get it for you...?" His wife's eyes filled with tears of emotion, she began to cry softly and stifling a sob she whispered: "Yes, I remember that jewellery shop..." "Well," he said, "I'm in the pub next door!" .......

  12. Jamie you are sounding like Derek Adams now! It is no use complaining about the Police and Stewards they are just doing their job and as it has been pointed out ICT fans threw smoke bombs at Dingwall so we will be watched more and they are more likely to pay more attention to those standing and singing. I am in section F and the singing where you were was great last night best we have had for a long time keep it up but its pointless complaining.
