  1. My sentiments as well. Absolutely no effin way will I give up my seat to be sat upon by those scumbags. Or should I say not sat upon because they all stand up now and are allowed to do so for the whole game by the stewards.

Warren off injured in 8 minutes and Foran at the back from then. Meekings didn't look too comfortable in the middle either. A better side than Clach would have ripped them apart. Tonight showed how thin on the ground our squad is especially at the back. I agree we need more players especially a couple of reliable defenders, a right winger and at least one striker. I also think Sutherland and McKay are going to struggle in the SPL again. Shane gives the ball away too often and Billy missed about six easier chances than the one he scored, which he took well. Pluses were Cooper, Draper and Polworth and Oswell when they came on. Andrew Shinnie and Doran started off well then faded. They just need to get fitter. Is Owain Tudor Jones injured?

Good luck to Gavin and hope to welcome him back next season. However, I can't believe that with so many inept midfield displays from other players this season (last Saturday in particular) he's hardly been given a chance. When Cox and Davies went south in January I felt sure that Gav was the right man to step in but obviously TB didn't see it that way.
  4. Ditto to all that 12th Man - I was celebrating my birthday too and had a great time. Rossco could have had a hatrick. Jim Calder's dribbles out of the his box were worth the entrance money alone. Fantastic craic in the Kingsmill Suite after as well. Russell's comment thanking Derek Adams for giving him his debut against his former club in the first half was priceless.

What a complete and utter f***y! I hear that after the cup semi final defeat and latest conspiracy theories against him Neil Lennon has decided to give up football management and become a professional darts player. Apparently he's good at throwing trebles and doubles.
  6. Yes, as most have said above a woeful performance. The only ones I would absolve from blame were Tuffey, Tokely, Golobart and McKay and Nick Ross when he came on. Thank goodness we have a gap of points between us and H*bs and the Pars. Otherwise that team performance would have got Terry the sack.
  7. Now I know what I'm doing on my birthday. Might even be able to persuade the family to get me hospitality as well.
  8. An ugly win but who cares when H*bs lose and the Pars only draw. Only one point behind the pack above now. The first 5 mins on Alba with Camelot instead of the game left me frantically searching for the BBC's telephone number. However, it suddenly switched over about 2 mins 30 secs into the match. Our defence played well and Johnny Tuffey slotted in fine. Ryan has a groin injury and is a doubt for Wednesday. The midfield played okay in the first half but looked a bit lost in the second. Tade, the goal apart, and Sutherland were pretty poor.
  9. I am sorry to say that performances like that will not get more fans through the turnstiles. Once again I have had just cause to think seriously about not renewing my season ticket for 2012-13 even with the prospect of playing the over-achievers from the other side of the Cromarty Firth at least three times.
  10. Saved myself all the anguish of watching this match and went to my Monday night badminton instead. If they carry on playing like this then I shall be arranging other sporting activities to coincide with ICT fixtures. :irritated:
  11. I have just read in the Courier that the time of the Hibs game on 1st April has been switched from 12 noon to 3pm. I already had to re-arrange another event after the switch from the Saturday to the Sunday. Now the new time clashes with the re-arranged time of the other event! Aargh! I'm going to demand a refund on my season ticket for that game.
  12. You could add Tokely, Hogg, Williams, Mackay and Ross as well.
  13. Apparently his contract is up in the summer along with about 9 other RC players. We could do with a player of his calibre and not just for cover in defence. It could also be a way of affecting their chances for promotion.
  14. I've just been advised that the safety certificate granted when the completion of the works was signed off will not allow away fans to occupy the North Stand. In this regard it is also questionable whether they can occupy the south wing of the Main Stand and the West "Stand". Apparently the club's Hon Secy should be able to confirm this.
  15. Absolutely no effing way will I give up my seat in the North stand for that scum. Apart form the fact I don't like the main stand because it is exposed to the excesses of the weather, as a point of principle we should not be giving up any more of our stadium to allow more of the dark forces of evil to come up here and misbehave. What is the point in televising it if not to allow most of their fans to watch it in their own pubs and armchairs? Sky mostly only televises matches involving the Old Scum and that's why I don't have Sky. We have already had the start of the slippery slope and it was intimidating enough having that shower in the "West" stand the last time they were up here. We don't wish to be completely hemmed in. If the club gives in then first of all I will not pay to watch the game and secondly I shall demand a refund on my season ticket.
  16. Where do you start? Could say something about two c**ks are better than one but then the H*bs team is full of them. Looking at the Daily Ranger story he only needed one to score with both girls. If you scroll down through the report it refers to "Griffiths, who scored twice for Hibs". You could then add one at home and one whilst playing away from home.
  17. Dreadful game to watch but we deserved the win. Aberdeen really didn't look like scoring until we were 2 up. Considering we were down to the bare bones of a squad again with injuries to Rossco and Andrew Shinnie, and the squits bug doing the rounds, the boys put in a great performance. We also got next to no favours from the officials especially with Mawene's umpteen tackles from behind on Billy McKay going unpunished. Well done guys, the only way is up especially with another poor team to contend with on Wednesday. Let's see if you can help get Fenlon the sack before the end of 2011.
  18. As if giving the Tattie Munchers part of the main stand and then the West stand isn't insulting enough they still feel it necessary to buy tickets for the North stand. So no sympathy for anyone who does that being chucked out. Of course we can't fill our seats with home fans because a lot of folk are so disillusioned with the way most games against the OF are decided these days that they can't be bothered going. Mr O'Reilly, you are also an absolute disgrace.
  19. So what have these songs got to do with football? Absolutely Sweet F*** All, which is what the authorities will do about them. What a bunch of morons too for unveiling their woe is us persecution banner before the game - "OUR MUSIC HAS SURVIVED THROUGH FAMINE AND OPPRESSION". Get a life! Their music only serves to air political views from a bygone age and there is no place for it football, period. Yesterday's events also served to demonstrate that their team also continues to survive through dodgy refereeing and big lumbering soft overpaid foreign imports taking dives. The sooner that they and their Old Scum partners leave Scottish Football all the better for the rest of the clubs trying to play honestly.
  20. Plans were drafted in 2007 for a new frontage over two floors which included a shop, ticket office, function rooms and separate players' entrance. However, the club had other priorities for spending and of course reduced its staff numbers following relegation in 2009.
  21. Craig Samson of St Mirren!!! I think Levein has totally lost it.
  22. Quality IHE. Did you have to buy the fish suppers in Auchterarder on the way home too?
  23. TB is not the only one talking about conspiracy theories against their team. Have you seen the quotes from Vladimir Romanov in today's Scotsman follwing the defeat to Killie last Saturday and subsequent reports of indiscipline to the SFA? In a statement posted on the club website yesterday, Romanov branded Scottish football a soap opera ?where lead roles are played by the teams from Glasgow, the national association, league, media, referees, and the teams who agree to participate in the show?. He lambasted the state of the game in this country and cast doubt on his continued involvement with Hearts, despite his provisional plans for a new stadium. ?Entrepreneurs and various large businesses turned their backs on that sort of football and left this national heritage to the mercy of its own fate,? Romanov said. ......... ?And no one is interested in what?s going on. This is why I think that there is no point is spending millions to watch someone else?s show.? ........... Romanov, meanwhile, signed off with a withering assessment of the Scottish game. ?We watch football degrading in its homeland,? he said. ?There are practically no high-quality Scottish players left, Scottish clubs don?t play in Europe and the national team doesn?t get into the finals of championships. Scottish football ranks alongside Armenia, Panama and Burkina Faso.? Obviously this is all a bit of a smokescreen because of the flak Romanov has been getting over non payment of players' wages. I also think he is as much to blame for the state of the game by the way he runs Hearts and the poor PR. However, I have to agree with his comments about Scottish football being a soap opera, which was cleary demonstrated by the actions of one Crawford Allan at the TCS last Saturday.
