  1. As Poles and other Eastern Europeans prefer to send their money home to relatives I can't see them forking out £26+ for a game at the TCS.
  2. Groan. Would like to see him spice things up with more than a few touches of Pepper. Roberts just doesn't have it.
  3. A good effort spoiled by Craig Thomson, plus Septic got lucky. Terry, please stop sending on Roberts like it is the last throw of the dice because he is just not up to it. Pepper and even Sutherland should be ahead of him in the pecking order.
  4. A bit of a farce, yes. The only good thing for me is I don't have to try and get out of my sick bed to go and watch it or lose my cash on the two tickets bought. Hopefully I will have stopped coughing by the time the game is rearranged.
  5. Forgive me if this has been raised on another thread. Any word of the Newco v ICT league cup game on Halloween being televised? I don't see it listed on Sky Sports or ESPN schedules.
  6. I remember having a run in with an over officious steward about my son's ICT flag blocking a hoarding in the family enclosure of the North Stand on the last day of the season just over 7 years ago. He said that the club had complained about it because it was over an advert but in actual fact it was only blocking the last three letters "URE" of the "KEVIN BISSETT FAMILY ENCLOSURE". The flag had been up there the whole season and someone chose the last day to have it removed. When I challenged the steward he then told me I was being disrespectful to Kevin Bissett. When I raised my complaint with the club they said that they had not complained. All this was going on while the stewards did next to nothing when Dundee United fans invaded the pitch for surviving relegation. Incredible!!!
  7. A welcome addition as is the link with the mighty Gunners but we need more than one striker from them. We also need a decent winger to replace Hayes and two more defenders because we have next to no back up.
  8. I know smoking is banned but way, way OTT by the beaks in their treatment of a regular fan, especially by comparison with the behaviour of the away support. The same two stewards asked me if I was carrying any liquids in bottles into the ground on the way in. When I said no and I had no concealed weapons either, unlike the Septic fan who stabbed the other one the last time they were in town, they didn't like it.
  9. Obvious but very funny. Thanks for all the bulletins. Looks like they re-focused after the Celtic fiasco. Onward and upward.
  10. I see that Butcher has expressed caution about playing Matt Cooper in the first team on a regular basis. However, with injuries to Raven, Warren and King already on top of Hogg's ongoing rehabilitation he will surely have to play.
  11. I see that is still a possibility especially with no other hugely attractive fixtures in the SPL that weekend. Berwick Rangers v Sevco **** (or what ever they are called) might be a possibility too if Sky strike a deal with the SFL.
  12. Shock, horror. I've just received the first email of the season from our commercial folk with the hospitality offer for this game. In checking the itinerary I note that it is a 3pm kick off, on a Saturday. Not that I'm complaining as that arrangement always suits me better. Is this the first time we have played Sellic at home at the traditional match time on a Saturday? Normally these are governed by the satellite tv company but it looks like they are not screening that game.
  13. After seeing how stretched out small squad was with last night's game I am worried as well. The right back Cooper looks a good prospect though. Is he on trial? Rudi Skacel would be a great signing for us. Could we not use some of the Muirfield money to tempt him north?
  14. My sentiments as well. Absolutely no effin way will I give up my seat to be sat upon by those scumbags. Or should I say not sat upon because they all stand up now and are allowed to do so for the whole game by the stewards.

    Clach v ICT

Warren off injured in 8 minutes and Foran at the back from then. Meekings didn't look too comfortable in the middle either. A better side than Clach would have ripped them apart. Tonight showed how thin on the ground our squad is especially at the back. I agree we need more players especially a couple of reliable defenders, a right winger and at least one striker. I also think Sutherland and McKay are going to struggle in the SPL again. Shane gives the ball away too often and Billy missed about six easier chances than the one he scored, which he took well. Pluses were Cooper, Draper and Polworth and Oswell when they came on. Andrew Shinnie and Doran started off well then faded. They just need to get fitter. Is Owain Tudor Jones injured?

    Gavin Morrison

Good luck to Gavin and hope to welcome him back next season. However, I can't believe that with so many inept midfield displays from other players this season (last Saturday in particular) he's hardly been given a chance. When Cox and Davies went south in January I felt sure that Gav was the right man to step in but obviously TB didn't see it that way.
  17. Ditto to all that 12th Man - I was celebrating my birthday too and had a great time. Rossco could have had a hatrick. Jim Calder's dribbles out of the his box were worth the entrance money alone. Fantastic craic in the Kingsmill Suite after as well. Russell's comment thanking Derek Adams for giving him his debut against his former club in the first half was priceless.
  18. What a complete and utter f***y! I hear that after the cup semi final defeat and latest conspiracy theories against him Neil Lennon has decided to give up football management and become a professional darts player. Apparently he's good at throwing trebles and doubles.
  19. Yes, as most have said above a woeful performance. The only ones I would absolve from blame were Tuffey, Tokely, Golobart and McKay and Nick Ross when he came on. Thank goodness we have a gap of points between us and H*bs and the Pars. Otherwise that team performance would have got Terry the sack.
  20. Now I know what I'm doing on my birthday. Might even be able to persuade the family to get me hospitality as well.
  21. An ugly win but who cares when H*bs lose and the Pars only draw. Only one point behind the pack above now. The first 5 mins on Alba with Camelot instead of the game left me frantically searching for the BBC's telephone number. However, it suddenly switched over about 2 mins 30 secs into the match. Our defence played well and Johnny Tuffey slotted in fine. Ryan has a groin injury and is a doubt for Wednesday. The midfield played okay in the first half but looked a bit lost in the second. Tade, the goal apart, and Sutherland were pretty poor.
  22. I am sorry to say that performances like that will not get more fans through the turnstiles. Once again I have had just cause to think seriously about not renewing my season ticket for 2012-13 even with the prospect of playing the over-achievers from the other side of the Cromarty Firth at least three times.
  23. Saved myself all the anguish of watching this match and went to my Monday night badminton instead. If they carry on playing like this then I shall be arranging other sporting activities to coincide with ICT fixtures. :irritated:
  24. I have just read in the Courier that the time of the Hibs game on 1st April has been switched from 12 noon to 3pm. I already had to re-arrange another event after the switch from the Saturday to the Sunday. Now the new time clashes with the re-arranged time of the other event! Aargh! I'm going to demand a refund on my season ticket for that game.
