Is it just me or was tonights cut of the game on sportscene appalingly biased towards the action involving Celtic attacks. I was at that game and for the first 20 minutes we dominated Celtic. From what we saw tonight they it looked like they dominate the entire match.:_nonono:
  2. Thats no bad from someone from the Jungle:023:
  3. I agree with all that. I think that was a very creditable performance on the whole. my only complaint would be against Gil. He showed nothing at all and seems to have very little game awareness.
  4. feck it you should have woke up the street.

gona stick to the club and bus
  6. This is a repeat of an old answer but surely a share of gate money, after expences, not including players wages, say 30% going to the away team would be a good first step. This would be a huge financial benifit to the smaller clubs. With the extra income smaller clubs would be more able to sign better players, generate improved performances and make the SPL more attractive. After a time income could be sufficient to generate extra monies for the lower divisions. More atractive SPL generates more TV income, bigger crowds and a still more atractive competition. I seem to remember that the old 1st Division had an arangement similar to this, the competition whilst still skewed was closer and crowds were bigger. I know that Scottish Football is unlikely to generate the crowd sizes of years past but somthing needs to be done to make it more atractive for the likes of SKY and ESPN. It could be that the game, as we know it, will wither in Scotland untill we are left with only part time football at best.

:_thumbup: I too am a big fan of Nick. Watched JH tonight at Clach and he was starting to look sharp in the second half. I think he could start against Celtic and if posssibly be replaced by Nick for part of the second half if he is feeling the pace. As far as the age thing goes there is a old saying, 'if he is good enough he is old enough'. I don't believe a game against septic would harm his development. Apologies to davie I hadn't realy read your post before I wrote this one.
  8. I have voted in this but to be fair I hav'nt tried all the sites listed but voted for the worst I personaly have tried.
  9. Agree about Max, spot on, still he is young and has plenty of time on his hands. Must have been pretty tough to see some of the balls in the gloaming. Has Clach had their electricity cut off?:_header:
  10. Just back from the game. Score didn't reflact our dominance. Some very neat football from some of the younger players. Shinnie not only scored but worked very hard throughout the game. Our forwards were taking to many touches when they got the ball or we could have scored a hatfull of goals in both halfs. Their goals have to go down to our defenders who let themselves down only a few times and were punished nearly every time by a Clach goal. Haynes had a good game really picking things up in the second half. MacBain was solid throughout and overall a creditable performance on a very slippery surface. Clach worked very hard and made a few good breaks from defence but in all honesty shouldn't have made the three goals they got.
  11. Move the family section into the main stand. Set up the north stand as sit anywhere for both season and non season ticket holders. Instruct the stewards to allow a bit of latitude, only using experienced and sensible stewards in this area. The rest would follow.

  13. Congratulations, aint it great when we get a player at international level.
  14. I read the article too. TB has never been anything but positive about this club, the supporters or the area. He is a pure gentleman and we are incredibly lucky to have him with us.
  15. I will be there:_thumbup:
  16. Good stuff, thanks Lizi.:_fart:
  17. I don't in any way blame Jud, he is to be commended for his best endeavours. I do however wonder at the competence of the person who allowed the club to look like it lacks professionalism. I am very proud of this club, as are many posters on this forum, but when I see it being let down, 3 days to fix a PA etc, I can't help but be concerned.
  18. I was embarrassed by the whole PA set up for this game, what must our Spanish guests have thought? We appeared no better than some amateur, small time team, a lot like C*unty, living a dream. Surely it not beyond the abilities of the stadium management team to get the installed PA system up and running. I would have thought that that was a priority for health and safety reasons alone. Still they appear to have few if any concerns for the wellbeing of the paying customers, shabby catering facilities, peeling paintwork and a main stand that fails in every respect to provide covered seating for the majority of customers. Of course this has all been well thought out by the board. After all spending money to look after punters, who will put up with the poor conditions in order to support their team, is foolish in the extreme. I know money is tight but this continual neglect of what is after all the main source of income for the club is outrageous.:_angry2:

I can't believe that would be right. Terry himself said they need the remaining friendlies to sort the team out. Well not his exact words but pointing in that direction. http://www.ictfc.co.uk/articles/20100731/managers-aftermatch-comments_2208826_2107491
