  1. Drat, shoulda saved it for when it matters!
  2. This might be a good time to keep our first clean sheet of the (league) season!
  3. Only 6 subs, and Fisher not in squad?
  4. It always makes you feel a bit better than getting the same final result but having thrown away a lead, but still, we really should be doing better than salvaging a draw in fixtures like today's and the one at Hamilton. Interestingly, in our 11 matches since the league started, the only 2 games we've won just happen to be the only 2 where we've scored the first goal.
  5. The landowner usually appoints an operator like Smart Parking ro run the car park. You'll get loads of increasingly threatening letters over the next few months, then some offers to pay a reduced amount, and then they stop.
  6. It speaks volumes that in a discussion of which of our strikers should be first choice, with the best will in the world none of us could justify a comment along the lines of "it's a nice problem to have".
  7. Sighs of relief all round, and an away draw is never really a bad result. But most of us had high hopes of winning this one after our very decent run of form, having (indirectly) shown ourselves to be as good as Man City!
  8. Has Mutombo got a club yet? You'd have thought that with a fair bit of talent and some televised goals he wouldn't find it at all difficult, but after a quick search he still seems to be out of work - for a brief moment though I thought he'd returned to the continent to sign for Vereinslos, until I realised it's the German word for out of contract!
  9. It's perfectly normal for an England manager's reign to end in shame and public humiliation, but usually that happens at a tournament!
  10. Very satisfying. And if we had beaten either Partick or County we'd be joint second!
  11. "Hey Barton, where's your career?........It's behind you!"
  12. He actually used to be quicker and fitter but appears to have put on a stone or two since I last saw him a couple of years ago. Here's a poster for your bedroom wall!
  13. I encountered John Swinney in his local 10k run at the weekend. Credit to him for doing this kind of thing - but did he really have to do it in a "Yes" t-shirt? Cringe! Tempting as it was, I just couldn't be bothered having a "conversation" with him at the end, nor could anyone else as far as I could see. Oh, and I beat him, easily.
  14. Was he fouled? Yes. Did he want to be fouled? Yes. We've never had a player so adept at drawing fouls. Barry Wilson was good at it but used a bit of "simulation" here and there. Draper isn't that kind of player.
  15. You should share the happiness by buying them all a drink!
  16. That is a terrific point for us, a real bonus given the number of chances Celtic had in the 2nd half. Great work guys - team and management.
  17. The biggest shock was that Celtic lost a game and didn't blame the ref!
  18. Whilst we generally look to win games against bottom 6 sides, we can consider this to be an excellent point! Well done guys.
  19. Kings of the wild frontier by Adam and the Ants. My first single was Ultravox's Vienna. Both would have been early 1981. Decent taste for an 8 year old, I think!
  20. Would I be right in saying that switching to option 2 (showing who awarded the dots), would actually be applied retrospectively, ie people who issued dots in the past on the understanding that it was anonymous would now find that they have all been made public?
  21. For the benefit of the Courier, he's not related to Nat King Cole either!
  22. Esson out for 6 weeks with an elbow injury (Courier).

    Strip

But don't we have our own draper?!
