Our Old Boss
I'm sure all ICT fans are delighted that he sorted himself out and is back in football management where he belongs. Everyone deserves a second chance. Well done to Huntly too for taking a risk that many other clubs wouldn't. I'm sure they won't regret it. And if Huntly have another Ross Tokely, Pele knows where to send him.

Scottish Deadline Days move (12am close)
Only 10 minutes left now. Thought we might have got even a decent loan deal.

Daddy Wanderer
No need to apologise, you were absolutely correct with that! His mail order wife is more your age though.

Daddy Wanderer
I note that the wee one appeared just after Last of the Summer Wine finally came to an end new beginnings and all that. Fantastic news, well done to all 3 of you. And you know where to come for advice on bad parenting.

Easter Road roll call
True - perhaps because it's further from Inverness. Anyway, I'll be there.

3rd Round CIS Cup Draw
That wouldn't have been anywhere near the top of my list of preferences. Mind you, with Lennon's managerial record in cups.....

Rooney call up
Perhaps he should follow Barrowman's example and perform in a way that keeps him well under the radar of any decent clubs.

Alison Coia aka Caley Ally
Very sad news. Newer fans might not know Alison, but there was a time when she and her family travelled around the country week in week out, following the team with great passion, and were known to pretty much anyone who attended away games. Condolences to the family.

Now and back then
Back then, we went down to Lancashire for a pre-season friendly and lost 2-1. Back then, we were full of optimism after a fantastic and unexpected win in our first league away game. Back then, we followed that up with an insipid performance the following week, losing at home 0-1 to an unfancied Hamilton side. But back then, we had Brewster instead of Butcher. And that's the difference that matters most.

Nick Ross
He's definitely got a talent and you can't fault his effort. But I'd hope and expect that he's being advised that if he doesn't develop physically over the next year or so he'll end up on the scrapheap, or worse still, at Elgin. To be fair I think he does look a bit stronger than he did last season.

Dougie Imrie
I take it the Hamilton fans were not chanting "Die Imrie Die" today?

Matchday Thread : ICT -V- Hamilton
That is a p1sh result against a very poor side. Not scoring at home against a team who have little or no defence? Such a disappointment after last weekend's euphoria.

Tokely on for McCann.

Team For Accies
He likes Cox. And from that formation, likes the idea of trying 2 at once - one at the back, and one for holding.
-
Dougie Imrie
Yes, all of the times. He must be one of the few players to get a yellow card during a penalty shoot out, after running to the Arbroath fans.

Scots teams in Europe
I know I shouldn't be surprised by Celtic's latest humiliation, but losing 4-0 to Utrecht is incredible. And with one of the goals from a guy called Maguire who is eligible to play for Ireland.

Matchday Thread: Dundee Utd -V- ICT
From the BBC website preview of Dundee Utd's match v AEK: Yes, even our stadium had better pace and movement than Utd.
-
Returning Players
Yeah it was the 2003 Challenge Cup semi. 4-0 win I think.
-
Away fans today
You're forgetting all the booing from the home fans!
-
Returning Players
Clearly it depends who it is. Booing players usually makes them play better (Rossco v St Mirren being a case in point) so the best treatment for a returning villain is probably to ignore them. And laugh loudly at their mistakes.

CIS Cup
Griffiths had a last minute penalty to win the game and sent it wide. Dundee then missed 3 of their 4 penalties in the shoot out. And Griffiths then had to be pulled away from a ball boy he was having a heated row with. Good to see things going from bad to worse at Dens. There is a rumour that Calderwood will be replacing Chisolm soon.

CIS Cup
Another old boy Kevin Byers got one of the Brechin penalties.
-
CIS Cup
Sadly 2-2 now, with Brechin down to 10 ment since 57 minutes.

What was in the tupperware?
It said Keys. But keys for what, and why was he keeping such a tight grip on the box? I reckon it was the keys to the basement where he keeps his daughter and the children they've had together.
