  1. Here you go RiG, you can just about pretend she's undressing for you.
  2. Just glad it's not Dundee. Good luck to him.
  3. I think the point is that we have no bank debt (loans or overdraft). All companies have creditors, just because of the way normal business transactions are usually settled in arrears - paying suppliers, utility bills, VAT, PAYE etc.
  4. Looks an entertaining game.
  5. Don't think I'll try putting that one to the test! Oh go on, I'll even give you a lift home from Court!
  6. Here's a wee hint for you Johnboy. When most people who are speeding see a camera they instinctively brake. However, the Gatso sensors don't actually record speed in a legally enorceable way if you accelerate towards the camera.
  7. Wooden Spoon is far more likely. Don't look like scoring many tries.
  8. Did Celtic fans get the irony of their chanting "There's only one Keano" to their new overpaid idol?
  9. Shocking effort on the whole! Who was baring their sole behind Hartley? And whatever happened to Nigel Quashie?
  10. One of them was really an own goal, not Wood's. He badly sclaffed at a cross, it was going to trundle about 20 yards wide until the backtracking defender got in the way and diverted it in. Although thats a bit like arguing that in Arbroath's 36-0 win, the 27th was actually offside.
  11. Let me just remind myself how this property game works. You go round building houses and making money. Meanwhile you observe that another participant has the best bit of property there is, called Mayfarebadlyoutofthis. And they've built a hotel stand on it. However, they've ran up big debts and need cash, so you see the opportunity to get your hands on this site at a good price, helped by some funds from the Community Chest and perhaps a fair bit of Chance. Once that deal goes through, you can build more stands and can then charge a high rent to your tenants. The thing is with this game, when people are not watching the board, there's always the risk that the other players can use sleight of hand to increase their assets.
  12. That's a good result for Scotland. France had won all 15 of the previous games at this level.
  13. If he's head of state and head of a church, then he's like the Queen.
  14. Cantona's kung fu kick on an opposition fan. Jim McLean laying into BBC's John Barnes during an interview. If only it had been Jim Traynor.
  15. :D
  16. Can anyone envisage John Terry being ICT manager in 25 years time? The reason I mention it is that saw an article a few weeks ago in which Terry Butcher was described as "the John Terry of his day".
  17. Dean MacDonald to Celtic is one of the funniest.
  18. Which completely invalidates my point ;)
  19. The only way I can see that happening is if the Supporters Trust was able to to substantially increase the number of shares it controls. Why? One of our previous chairmen has (or had) a personal holding of only 250 shares (the minimum). I a sure - especially in these times of stony silence - that there would be significant support from a lot of small shareholders for a fan representative. What I was meaning here is that I just don't see the board voluntarily inviting a fans rep to the table. It is common business practice though that a significant shareholder (and I'm probably talking about a 20%+ stake) is granted a place on the board. There's no actual requirement for that to happen, but in any normal company its accepted that the largest shareholders need to be involved rather than excluded from operational decision making, otherwise they can become uncooperative and make life difficult for the board.
  20. And if you enjoy women? My wife disagrees with the equivalent stance. It's often said though that in his life, a man can love many women but only one football team.
  21. The only way I can see that happening is if the Supporters Trust was able to to substantially increase the number of shares it controls. Linking that point back to the Killie hotel and any other similar gestures, rather than gifting money to cover bills, is there any reason why the Trust can't provide the club with the same amount of money in return for shares to the same value? The club still gets the relevant costs met, but the Trust gets something tangible in return which reflects its funding of the club, and over time builds the stake in the right direction.
  22. That was a good summary Mr Mills. Is it possible that the stadium was initially transferred to the trust, which subsequently sold or transferred it to the commercial entity?
  23. Scotty for Chairman! YES WE CAN! (which seems to be the complete opposite of the club's current mantra)
  24. Get him signed! Seriously though, with an impressive record like that its only a matter of time before a team in our league makes a move for him. Edit - in fact, with Brewster's penchant for his former ICT players, what are the odds on a "dreamticket" Barrowman/McAllister strike force?!
