  1. Aye, i think it might have relegated them! What a sickener for them.
  2. He's also been taking free kicks for them I know he scored one for us a few years ago in a meaningless end of season game, but I think it took about 3 bounces and a couple of defelctions before trundling in.
  3. Good day for us, but we can't get too excited about humping a very poor and managerless team.
  4. This new attacking philosophy seems to be paying off. I think we'd be very happy if all the Div 1 games end without any further goals.
  5. Is it your mother?
  6. Uncanny, Scotty was spot on, 3 posts later! His cryptic comment earlier was predicting a response just like that.
  7. I believe Reliably Informed is living up to his name.
  8. Question - just how flamable is the Thistle shirt?
  9. I saw this story and wondered if we'd feel flattered if our wives were going to such lengths to get tickets for us. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8331117.stm If it was for the Alba Cup final, I think I'd be a bit unhappy.
  10. and you were watching one of Feb 8th's programmes. :) :)
  11. "one of the most economically deprived areas in Scotland" I presume they are referring to Merkinch rather than Inverness. But even so, is it a valid claim? I haven't lived in Inverness since the 80's, but my perception of that area is that it's deprived and a bit rough, but there are dozens of worse areas.
  12. I wonder if the club are concerned that some fans will settle for online highlights rather than paying to go to games?
  13. Possibly, but his stock was at a high point after Euro 2008 and it was the right time for him to move. Had he stayed, maybe he'd only have scored 5 or so goals by the following window, or might have got injured again. We'll never know.
  14. We have got a bye to the final. Full draw: Airdrie United v Queen of the South Ross County v Berwick Rangers Whitehill Welfare or Threave Rovers v Inverurie Loco Works Deveronvale or Buckie Thistle v Ayr United Cowdenbeath v Alloa Athletic Albion Rovers v Elgin City Stirling Albion v Huntly or Auchinleck Talbot Clyde v Livingston Irvine Meadow v Arbroath Edinburgh City v Keith Wick Academy v Brechin City Stenhousemuir v Cove Rangers Greenock Morton v Dumbarton Montrose v East Fife Raith Rovers v Peterhead Spartans v Forfar Athletic
  15. Richard Gordon said tonight that Dods has scored the most own goals in scotland EVER! I think ICT was the only club where Dods didn't have a reputation for being prolific in front of (own) goal. I'd like to know how many he's racked up. I think he got 4 at St J one year, and is off to a cracking start this season.
  16. I'm sure Clach will survive in some form, they always do. But if they don't, is there a viable and legal way of having an Inverness based HL team that is controlled (if not owned) by ICT?
  17. Nothing would surprise me on this, but before we get too carried away, this comment from a fan on that Plymouth website is perhaps worth reiterating.
  18. Perhaps PC Plum should do some probing for you.
  19. Never heard that story about Plum. We've always found him creepy, and questioned whether he should actually be allowed to help out at the nursery.
  20. They play in Pitmedden, Aberdeenshire.
  21. Great result. But we are still just 6th. Need to sort the home tactics out, and see if we are actually capable of winning 2 games in a row.
  22. Are there any fans out there? Did anyone grow up with it? Does anyone have a thing for Miss Hooley? I watch an episode every single day. Which when you've only got 1 DVD of it, gets a bit repetitive. But the wee one doesn't mind, she can't get enough. Her pronunciations of the character names are quite amusing - Dozy Dump, Eadie Paedie, and showing astuteness beyond her 22 months, PC Dumb. The actor who plays Spencer now drives the No. 7 bus in Perth, and is very friendly and cheerful. When I saw in the credits that the guy playing Archie is Miles Jupp, I remembered that I saw him about 8 years ago in a comedy night of supposedly up and coming stand ups. He generally made jokes about being posh. (Things didn't quite work out for him as well as they did for a young Frankie Boyle who was also on the bill).
  23. Been out for most of the afternoon so it was a very pleasant surprise to see we were romping this one.
  24. Our away form has been great, so it's a big risk to have a complete change in approach.
  25. Foran, Rooney, Sanchez and Imrie!
