GRETNA RESIGN FROM SFL
I seem to recall a 2-2 draw in Galashiels, must have been about 1989? The Fairies were a team that were always in contention for a league place but have disappeared into obscurity in recent years. Which is a bit of a shame because in terms of geography and catchment area they would be better than most of the current contenders.

BT - ICT ad
I seem to recall that the opposition had a name like St Marks? I dug out an old Betamax with various ICT clips on it, but I didn't get beyond the first thing on the tape which was us winning the first division, including news footage of a group of us in front of the Innes singing " Are you watching Ross County?!" Happy days. :003:

Romanian Squad announced for Euro 2008
Fixed it for you!

F.A.O. Brew,ICT,SPL..........Up your game!!
The only positive I can come up with is that the Ballinluig roadworks are finished. And if that ain't enough to reinvigorate your enthusiasm, Big Dougie can always provide a pole for Mantis to dance around. See, you'd miss the banter!
- Cowie staying?

Dons 2-0 Rangers : Dundee Utd 0-1 Celtic (Latest)
And with the Celtic fans staying behind at Tannadice to celebrate, both sets of fans will be travelling along the A90 and A9 at the same time!

Consecutive appearances
I saw the other day that Paul Sheerin has set some sort of record with St Johnstone for making 132 consecutive appearances. I seem to remember that Mark Brown holds the record with ICT. Anyone know our record for an outfield player?

ICT Accounts
Companies have to send their annual accounts to shareholders, and also file them with Companies House. Anyone can get them from the Companies House website for a couple of quid.

Best Moment of the Season
Brewster's winner v Hearts to get us our first points of the season.

RIP Tommy Burns
An absolute gentleman, a very sad loss.

SPL 07/08 XI
I would agree with TCF on Hutton. De Vries on the other hand......

GRETNA RESIGN FROM SFL
It's often been said that Gretna are an embarrasment, shouldn't be in the SPL etc, but despite their problems and playing all their games away from home, they have actually competed far, far better than Derby have in the Premiership : 23 pts v 11.

Massive game tonight!
Very poor, but we are the only team to beat Gretna in their last 7 games!

Youngsters Sign 1 Year Deals
The U19 keeper McNulty has also been given a 1 year contract and will be in the first team squad next season. I doubt he will be the second choice keeper though, as Brewster says we will be going with 3 keepers in the first team squad next season. That's a first as far as I can recall.

Mike Smith
I'm very disappointed with Mike Smith on this. He should have given TCJ a good clip round the ear and then dragged him out of the stadium by the scruff of the neck.
-
Michael Barnes
He just went there on loan for 1 month after his trial with us. I think he is back at ManU now but will be a free agent when the season ends. If no offer has been made, he probably didn't impress.

Travel problems for away teams
Another one to add to this : Gretna had to eat cold lasagne on the journey up yesterday, because the microwave on their bus wasn't working. They were presumably too poor to stop at the Ballinluig Motorgrill.

Brewster
Keep up Tom, the club set the record straight weeks ago.

Good Luck To Rangers !
Credit to Walter for getting the tactics spot on throughout this UEFA Cup run : bore the opposition into submission.

Rich List
I see that David Sutherland has crept into Scotland's top 100 richest people for the first time, with ?52m. Level with St J's Geoff Brown, but a long way below other football club owners like Tom Farmer, John Boyle, Stewart Milne and David Murray. I couldn't find Niculae.
