  1. At least 4, depending on how many we lose by. It has taken Hamilton 11 games to score their last 4 goals, so don't hold your breath.
  2. If we go down I expect TB and MM will jump ship to fill vacancies at Falkirk or such like in the summer.
  3. They are "laying" into him here with some good gags: http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.ph...107144&st=0
  4. Paul Ritchie and Bobby Mann at Dunfermline, in a midweek game where we were diabolical and 2-0 down late on but somehow got the most underserved point I can remember.

They'll probably be getting rid of many of their high earners and replacing them with guys like Black who are a fraction of the cost. Isn't Kingston on ?15k a week?
  6. The pain must have been eggscruciating. :(
  7. Which many of us at the time thought was paying over the odds, but it has turned out to be a decent investment.
  8. I think he could be a pretty good assistant manager if he sticks to what he's good at and lets the manager do the team selections, tactics and motivation etc.
  9. Sounds like a good performance and a good result (against a team that had beaten us 6 times in a row I think) but somehow we end up closer to relagation.
  10. Just so long as we don't go into the last game needing something against Falkirk, pleeeease. I hate the idea of their fans invading our pitch at the end and spreading their swine flu.
  11. Anyone who scored important goals for ICT, captained us on Feb 8th 2000, and then goes on to arrest Fifers gets a big from me.
  12. I can provide a scarifier, but I'll need someone to bring a very long extension cable. Billy Reid was complaining the other day about our poor pitch, is it really that bad?

  14. We have 2 decent, fully fit keepers, but Fraser is in possession of the keeper's jersey and there is nothing to suggest he will lose his place for the game against his future employers. But would it be any different if Motherwell were down at the bottom in the relegation dogfight? One mistake by Fraser could ensure that he plays SPL football next season and becomes an established SPL keeper for years to come. On the other hand, with a flawless performance could condemn himself to a career in the SFL. In that scenario, would you play him if you were manager?
  15. Erm, because they're the Government? Starting off with members of the Cabinet, to be precise, was a pretty good way of drawing maximum attention to just how widespread the expense abuse has been.
  16. That was a terrible, terrible pass. But apart from that, Lionel wasn't much worse than half a dozen other ICT players. :023: At least he was always in the game, and most of our attacks started with him bringing the ball out of defence.
  17. Me too. Did the bounce send it away from goal?
  18. I don't think the preservation of fossil fuels should be a priority at the moment.
  19. I think the goal we conceded might have been a Foran OG, based on TV. Canning won the header against Tokely who was rising like yeast - although it didn't help that Canning was using him for leverage. The header was going harmlessly to Blackie's feet at the far post, but Foran was running towards goal, tried to intervene and seemed to bundle it in.
  20. I thought Imrie was very poor today.
  21. Scotland have been awarded a Fair Play place in the qualifying stage of next season's Europa league, and Motherwell are currently the team with the best discipline. So there's a good chance that Fraser will be joining Blackie by playing European football next season, which is an unexpected bonus for him. I wonder if for the remainder of the season, Motherwell players will be inclined not to go in for as many 50/50 balls for fear of getting cards that may hand the European place over to another team? (St Mirren are next in line, followed by Hibs).
  22. Don't worry Bob, it appears that the politicians are stepping aside and letting Joanna Lumley run the country.
  23. One Arsenal fan didn't respond at all well to the defeat to Man U. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/8036367.stm
  24. For a long time TCS was more of a bouncy castle than a fortress.
