ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Pleased to have Billy back (again) although I think we have all learned not to get too excited when a popular former player returns Storey, Vincent etc)

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
I suspect it might have been a reduced offer. For a supposed senior/experienced player he didn’t really make enough impact since his return.

Ex-ICT players' news
They sound like good moves for all concerned, especially the Hughes one. He’s good at coaching players to become better players, which is exactly what you want at a Colts team.

No surprise there.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
“The club can confirm that James Vincent, Kevin McHattie, Nikolay Todorov, Martin MacKinnon and Shane Harkness will be leaving us this summer. Nikolay Todorov and Martin MacKinnon were offered improved contract extensions but decided to move on. “ Mentions later that Storey has been offered a new contract but no conclusion on that either way, with Dodds having spoken to him on Thursday and again last night.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
From his comments is it not just the case that he has chosen to leave, presumably because he knows of better offers from elsewhere?

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
Sounds like he or his agent contacted us but we declined to make an offer, given that he says he spoke to ICT, and later says there were League One and League Two sides interested in him (but not Championship sides).

Euro 2020
Brilliant finish actually but instead of making the obvious pass out to the right flank to create a chance, Hendry, 30 yards out and with no sight of goal, decides to blast it off the defender who is right in front of him. Game over.

Euro 2020
Evenly matched teams but too easy for the visitors, thanks to Scotland making some poor decisions and being unclinical in front of goal.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
They know perfectly well that they shouldn’t be there, seeing as they ceased to be ICT players when their contracts expired, and they haven’t been offered new contracts. Sounds like communication has been poor though….but there are 2 sides to every storey.

Euro 2020
When it comes to Scotland, it’s the hope that kills you. Younger fans need to be psychologically prepared for crushing disappointment, missed opportunities and failure. If you go in expecting all that then it’s slightly easier to cope when it inevitably happens. I’d imagine that getting past the group stages would bring great feelings of joy and elation but that is mere speculation on my part as nobody has ever actually experienced it.

Ex-ICT players' news
Astonishing.. Is there anyone would wouldn’t have wanted him back at ICT?

Ex-ICT players' news
Despite Liam Fox being announced in the press as joining the Hibs coaching set up after leaving Livi last month, he has been unveiled as assistant to Tam Courts at Dundee Utd.

Squad Update 2021
We’ve signed experienced Italian, Andrea Bocelli. I’ve never seen him play but we could certainly do with someone vocal on the pitch.

Colts Teams
Brechin were obviously keen on the Lowland League, reportedly offering the other teams that they would purchase a minimum of 100 tickets for each away game (few of which would actually be used) and offering free admission to away fans at Glebe Park. They have also now brought Craig Levein on board, are changing from a members club to a company, and I believe the family who own Mackie Motors amongst other things might be instrumental in all this. Pity they had to fall so far before sorting themselves out. Strange how they went into freefall as soon as they unexpectedly got promoted to the Championship under Darren Dods a few years ago.

Scotland Under 21's
Dan Mackay tripped for a penalty in today’s 3-2 win over NI.

Billy Dodds is the new ICT Manager
Dodds commentating for BBC tonight, Scotland v Netherlands. Memphis Depay a free agent, just saying....

BBC Request - memories of Feb 8th 2000
Yes it did happen, I think we were just in one frame, perhaps the final one of the comic strip, and I’m sure it was the Beano.

Billy Dodds is the new ICT Manager
Just realised that most of our managers are ex international footballers. Baltacha, Robbo, Butcher, McCann and now Dodds, whilst Foran was an U21 international. You’ve also got Brewster who many thought should have been capped, but was out of sight out of mind when at his peak in Greece, and later it was his play that got Stevie Crawford his caps when they were a partnership at Dunfermline.

When We Were Good
If only back in 2015 winning the cup offered, as it does now for StJ, Europa league group stages (or at worst, the new Europa conference league). Possible £3m revenue from that - where might we be now, and what a lot of fun we’d have had on our travels!

Aaron Brian Doran Cogan
One of the very top for unfulfilled potential.

ICTFC Squad Update 21/22/23/
He’s obviously not the finished article but a really good prospect. For me there’s no doubt that we’d have done a wee bit better there this season if we still had Tremarco, but we’d also have had less money for other positions. Intersting question about his position, could he move into left midfield?

BBC Request - memories of Feb 8th 2000
Walking back to the car after the game was the first time I ever made a mobile phone call. I didn’t have my own one in those days so I borrowed one to tell my dad the score - he thought I was winding him up. From him taking me to see Caley in the Highland League to us winning comfortably at Celtic Park, just amazing.

League Cup draw
The Challenge Cup only gets interesting when you get to the semis with the chance of a final. The League Cup only gets interesting at the quarter finals, when you have the chance of a semi final at a neutral venue and you are only 2 games away from a national final. The Scottish Cup is always interesting.
