If we take only the matches from January onwards, there is a marked improvement. Maybe both the Saints should be worried for next season. Not great, but many other clubs will be worrying with these stats as well..... http://www.theawayend.net/component/content/article/974-spl-2012-table

Well we need a manager..... We have one ;) Hector the Tink?

I would have given him a one year extension as a utility player. He has made mistakes but has had good games as well. I like him in the squad. The players respected him and he has experience required. I wonder who will be filling his place on the bench. All the best Procs.

Thanks for all the support, Weather was bad but it looks like it will be even worse this coming week so it could have been worse! Good reception from St Mirrren and Caley Thistle as well. Very sore today but happy to be relaxing!

That's what i'm wondering. Last year it was announced a few weeks before the end of the season who will be released. It's possible that players have been told privately. Maybe the Munro / Duncan supporters back lash means that if players are being released, it will be announced publicly after the season ends. I do find it odd that Tade was offered a new contract and then dropped for the last couple of games. I can only assume that McKay was being tested and he's passed the test. I like Tansey and McKay. There seems to be a lot of negative comments about Tansey on CTO. He's had plenty of bad games for sure. But so has everyone including Jonny Hayes! Like Hayes, Tansey has had plenty of good games. McKay has played well enough and works hard enough to get a new contract. I'm sure he would score more goals if he wasn't on his own up front with the ball hoofed to him. He's just not that type of player. If he can get a good strike partner, then he could be our top scorer next season into double figures.

I completely understand what your saying but my solution will be different if this happens. I won't be going to any games involving 'Rangers'. I'll treat it as a weekend off football. I couldnt't go and support another team though. It's either Caley Thistle or nothing at all. If Rangers emerge as a newco and carry on in the SPL, I might invoice them for the games we've lost at Ibrox. £25 quid to watch us lose (like in December) against a team fielded fraudulently.

There'll be none of that next season when your beloved Jail end gets the SPL treatment.

I wouldn't be disgruntled. He's not from Inverness and if he fancies a career at another team(s) then that's his choice. Of course, I also don't think it's the best move for him as i'm sure he can get better offers. Hopefully one of the better offers is from Caley Thistle! Brown said: “I’ve now told Inverness manager Terry Butcher I plan to speak to Hayes. We didn’t have to do that but I believe it’s only good manners.” Since his contract doesn't expire untill the end of the season, therefore he is currently under contract, doesn't Butcher need to give permission for another club to speak to him? Or is it legal if he is just about out of contract?

I don't think IHE needed to officially change ends in order to infiltrate the away end!
-
Will Hayes be suspended for any of the lst 3 games? I'm not too sure when the ban kicks in from two yellows as it's not always the next game.
-
I'm actually worried about the Pars game more than the Midden game. Hibs will have Leigh Griffiths missing for the Hibs Pars game next Monday. i think the Pars will beat them. I'm slightly worried for the last 3 games. But I think Hibs will go down. No fight or spirit (unless it's the cup!!!) and there's a good chance that the Pars will pick up more than 3 points. Time will tell.

Let me get this right. The thought of having not many fans at an away game makes you sick.... "Getting around 200 fans to the likes of Perth or Aberdeen makes me sick" But you're unhappy with a bus (organised by volunteers that's much cheaper than your average public transport) that is put on for fans to travel to away games. "And f**k your supporters bus heap of *****! "

I agree DC - Of course I was posting what I believed to be a 'fact' but since the club have stated otherwise then yes with hindsight I should have posted in rumour mill.
-
Woops. Started effectively the same thread in the ICT section lol I need to refresh my page more often!

STV have just announced via twitter than Ian Black will be released by Hearts at the end of the season. I'd imagine that many clubs will be interested. If Butcher took an interest in him again, would you like to see him back in a Caley Thistle top? My answer is yes.
-
The courts have had the final say. Now of course we have to wait to see if UK Athletics pick him. http://sport.uk.msn....entid=161237641
-
How old is he do you know? First signing of next season or one of these apprentice players?
-
Yes I understand it wasn't directed at me I was merely agreeing. If there is an issue that I or fans don't agree with then naturally it will be debated - which is why I highlighted it. However, I won't slag off the club just for the sake of it or as a points scoring excersie which does tend to happen on here at times! I could also see that this thread was heading in that direction so that's why I've stopped discussing it, since the club have made a statement and I consider the situation closed.
-
Ok, I did say I will draw a line under the matter etc etc. I will go on what the club have said over rulling what I have been told and let that be an end to it. i did not expect the club to respond so quickly (and that's a credit to them) and so I echoe what CaleyD said: "It's one thing to disagree with a situation, event or the actions of another, but it's entirely something else when you set out to be deliberately obstructive or to undermine just for the hell of it." I have posted what I have believed to be true and untill the club responded I felt quite pi55ed off as it's yet again another incident that i really disagree with at the club. HOWEVER, the fact is the club have responded. I like their response and for me it effectively kills the debate so there's no need for further debate - not from me anyway. I'm happy that they have responded. Johndo - I do see it slightly differently in that I think it's good that the the club are happy to make statments / interact and listen to fans. And I won't be saying names - especially over a forum! So I really have nothing further I can add to it.
-
Yes. I can see the Pars beating Hibs next week. Could be an interesting last 3 games!
-
Glad to see the club have responded to this and I shall take their word on it. Particularly that they say that he is worth more to the club as a player. Maybe the 'truth' that I know of is in fact wrong. I think many folk are concerned with signings etc and when I was informed about this I felt the need to post about it as I am sure a lot of people are concerned about the direction we are going. Happy for a mod to either delete it or carry it on with the ICT statement. The ICT statement can draw a line unerneath this, and i'm happy to leave it at that in terms on talking about it on here / in public. I'm happy to send a quick email as well to the club and leave it at that. I too have come to the conclusion that the agent is stirring things up and I shall trust the club on this one. Edit: I deleted one of my other posts.
