  1. Brilliant. Hope the others follow suit. IMHO Colts should never have been allowed in anyway.
  2. Dumbarton and Bonnyrigg would be new grounds for me. Was hoping at least one of them would be a possible Sat fixture but....naa.
  3. I know of at least 4 😇

I've never known such a dedicated and determined nutter. Proud to have Yompa as a friend and inspiration. Lad deserves all the support we can muster. This is one hell of an undertaking and I have no doubt he will do this. Please bare in mind he is no youngster....he's 70. Give what you can please.
  5. I believe I said the same thing back in 2015. The team broke up and our downward trend started after that final. I'm not expecting the shock we all grave but could this be a shot in the arm for the club and begin an upward trend instead?
  6. Better offer or sacked for not making extra money for the club in the play-offs 😁
  7. You pose a very good question. A case of damned if you do and damned if you don't right there.
  8. At this stage I wouldn't ditch Dodds as there's not enough time for the replacement to get to know the squad for such a big game. What he needs to do though is work on tactics that avoid the big punt up the park. Championship sides gobble those up for breakfast. The likes of Celtic will enjoy them for dinner and supper too. Not making the play offs may be a blessing in disguise for me as I don't think we would have been good enough for the awful SPL. I agree entirely with your second paragraph. Recuperation, fitness and team building will be vital. I'd add watching Celtic videos until they've got green and white stripes in their eyes. They can be beaten...we just got to find a way how to do that.
  9. Fair effort in the end to keep the season alive in the league. Great run to bring it to this stage when we looked completely out of it at the start of the year. Injuries, Hamilton and Dodds have done us in the end. We can now look forward to the Highland Derby next season...as well as Hamilton... No game now until the pre-season friendly with Celtic at Hampden Park on Sat 3 June in the blazing heat of the mid-day sun...oh...wait...make that the late afternoon sun. Quite how Mr Dodds and his merry men will prepare the team for this without any game time remains to be seen. Mon the Caley Jags - unbeaten in Scottish Cup Finals.
  10. Think I've still got some apathy left in me. I really don't know how this game will pan out. Falkirk did excellent to get to this stage and will not fear us. They have a score to settle from 2015 and they'll have a more vocal and bigger support. We need to start well and shut them up. As for our ticket sales I think we'd be luck to exceed 3000. Lets face, not many folk in Inverness can afford two semi finals on the same weekend...😉🤔 The stupid early k.o time will prevent many fans meeting up and enjoying the big match build up. Football is not a sport for the fans anymore. I'm hopeful of hooking up with a few after the game but I really don't our plans yet for getting to Hampden.
  11. Sorry to hear of his passing. Had the pleasure of listening to one of his after dinner speeches at an ICT function. So funny. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
  12. Not heard from her for a good few years. Hope she is ok. Other than social media I have no further contact detail. xx
  13. Met him a couple of times during our Highland March days. So sorry to hear of his passing. Our sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
  14. Goal difference could play a part too. Smashing 8 or 9 past Hamilton without conceding should but things right.
  15. This won't be easy. As mentioned above, Cove will be up for it after last nights game. We need to be on it from the start and not give them any ideas.
  16. Hope not of course but if we get a needless sending off when 2 up it would seem likely.
  17. I've seen Arbroath a couple times recently on council telly, they're a solid side despite their lowly position. A tough test for ICT to break them down. We're not the most free scoring side in the league so I'm hoping our recent good form will see us grab the 3 points.
  18. That was a poor game at Plastic in the first half. Two quality team goals in the second set up the Plastic for the three points. Spiders offered nothing in return. With the match entering the last ten minutes I switched off...and missed two goals 😆. Plastic are certainly knocking in some goals just now and are looking good. Anyway..enough about them. As mentioned, three points is crucial for us today. It's also true to say we shouldn't be relying on others but, in our self made situation, we have too. The chance is still there hanging by a thread so lets grab hold of it and do this.
  19. Saturday is crucial. Drop points and it's all over.

Regardless as to whether the club name is 'available' or not I find it totally respectful to our clubs history.Shame on Rossvale FC. I also get the Caledonian bit and makes more sense to rename their team Caledonian Locomotive.
  21. It was Caledonian F.C when I first started following the team. This was in the later stages of their Highland League and club existence. I never had that solid 'my club' feeling as I wasn't brought up with the team. I never really wanted the merger to happen but would Caley or Thistle have got into the SFL on their own back then? You only have to look over the bridge for that answer. My following of the team started in 78 but I never got to see them and become a paying supporter until some ten years later. The club of today have given me so many good times (and bad) over the years that I now feel it was all worthwhile. Would Caley or Thistle have made it to the SPL (A league I hate) or win a major trophy? I have my doubts.
  22. Really need a great performance today and grab the three points. My heart says yes we will, my brain is still full of doubt though. Imrie seems to know how to play against Caley and can motivate his side better than Doddsy. We've not beaten them in three attempts this season taking only one point from nine. Now would be a good time to put that right. Agg score is currently 7-2 to them so a 5-0 win should level things up for the season
  23. I think I'd get rather fed up in these parts explaining what ICTST stands for....so..for that reason, I'm out. Good luck with the sales though.
  24. I caught the game (late in 1st half...missed the goal) on BBC Alba. For whatever reason the TV screen / live feed was going all pixelated and eventually failed. I was then forced to watch the England game for my football fix.
  25. Sad news indeed. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.
