  1. My expectation is that we will win this league. The reality is that we do have enough players in our squad who are capable of doing so. They just need to give 110% each and every game.
  2. Sorry but wrong again, he had a full season in charge there taking over in April 2002 and before that he was Eric Blacks assistant so it wasn't someone elses mess. I just think theres too many folks on here with rose tinted glasses and I think they're in for a shock this season. I remember how hard each game was to win in the first division and there are a lot of good players in there looking to get noticed. We're doomed to life in the lower echelons for more than one season, that's all I'm saying. Your right %th. The only thing you've failed to point out is that Motherwell were on the verge of administration and had to pay off a number of players and staff. His first full season the team was made up of mainly youth players. Remember Mark Brown. He was one of those made redundant at the time.
  3. First point. Morais has been training at McDairmid. He is looking at a few options but Derek M would like to sign him and he has been offered a deal that he will think about. Second point. I dont believe St Johnston will be the ones to come back down. I believe the change of management and loss of some of the better players will see Falkirk fighting with St Mirren for survival.
  4. Slice of lemon in the vodka should do the trick. Where is this one?
  5. It just amazes me that so many fans of ICT are so obsessed with Dundee. Its what we do that matters not what they do.
  6. This season we cannot afford a training camp with better opposition. Most teams play lower league teams to help with gelling together and gaining match sharpness. these are no more than training stints. Aberdeen and United normally use the div3 teams around them. The edinburgh teams have been known to use east league juniors etc. These game, not only give the training sessions but they, help boost the coffers of the clubs we travel to. ICT takes nothing of the gate reciepts from the Elgins, Huntly's etc. That cash goes to the home team and goes a bit towards their operations and player development.
  7. Once again Fiona's on the ball Well done the lads and well done that girl
  8. It would seem that 66% of fans would disagree with you.
  9. Some will like it, some wont. Everyone has different tastes.
  10. If there happens to be a spare berth for this one perhaps you'd like to make a course detour up into the Tay.
  11. I've been on the Tulloch turf and I've kicked a ball on it........does that count?
  12. HMS = Howdens Motor Submarine
  13. Would like to see the back of it. Looks like the two colours start at the neck and sweep round the back and down one side.
  14. I think its ok. Its different to any other.
  15. Such a pity the pictures aint there anymore
  16. Went last season and they charged a fiver + a quid if you wanted to sit in the stand.
  17. Ilpadrino, sadly the crew of the Discovery have aspirations beyond their station. They aspire to be buccaneers and lords of the high seas but alas, as you say, they are no more than mere boy scouts. This row boat of theirs will never match the speed and agility of the mighty HMS Sneck.
  18. I,m up for that. IHE never goes without his. I'm sure one or two others will make the effort.
  19. If the first paragraph in this article is correct then they better send all the shirts back for reprinting.
  20. I've still got my crutches.
  21. Back in the days of the birth
  22. What on earth has happened to that thing that once was the trademark of the ICT fan? That thing called humour. Everyone has become so serious nowadays. This site was one that would have you in stitches reading the posts. Now apathy and blandness have set in. Maybe we need to ressurect some of the threads from the old Sportnetwork site and let the young see what we used to be all about.
  23. Does this **** not deserve a feckin % warning ? For what??
  24. A campaign season ends and the battered and bruised HMS Sneck limps quietly into dry-dock. A season of battles and skirmishes under a clueless leadership and a shell-shocked crew took its toll on the poor old girl. She rallied towards the end but her wounds had not healed and she succumbed to humiliation and ultimate defeat. But fear not people. HMS Sneck has been modified and re-fitted. Her wounds have been healed. Her scars painted over and she is once again in a state of battle readiness. At present she is undergoing sea trials around the firth of Moray under the watchful eye of Commander Butcher, he of English persuasion, who has, on more than one occasion, displayed his do or die attitude and his lust for victory. Lieutenant Malpas, a tactician of war with a record of success in many a battle. And captain Munro, a vital spark in the battles ahead. Those trials are showing that she is back on the route to success. With a crew of experience and youth and a following of young and old HMS Sneck will once again show her dominance. With campaigns in the firths of Moray, Forth, Tay, Clyde and Solway about to begin HMS Sneck is armed and ready. Re-inforced with weapons of mass destruction she will head into battle all guns blazing from the off. She will create history. She will show the world she is not prepared to lay down her arms just yet. Her armoury will be stronger and more superior to that of the enemy and her course will always be set to go forward. Never will she retreat. Be ready dear people. Be ready to fight and to follow and to believe in the strength and power of the old girl HMS Sneck.
