  1. So the fans of this club now have a Premiership/Championship mentallity. A couple of bad results and we sack the manager. Man City's guy must be on a sticky wicket. And Sunderlands. And Man U's. When Butcher was here he was accused of being tacticless. He was slated for playing one up front. Hughes plays two up front and he's got to go. Next we'll be sacking the board for not getting fans through the gate for this game. After all they only reduced the price to a tenner.
  2. Welcome to our forum Dons fan. Good opening post. Come next sunday i want to read about a good, hard fought, game with good refereeing, hard working players and no cheating from Pawlett. No controversy to talk about afterwards and definately no sending offs. Oh! and a result that reflects that the better team won.
  3. Dont think he should be dropped. We know he can do very well, especially when his defence are on form. And therein seems to be the problem. Maybe its time to get back to basics and start defending from the off.
  4. From the mouth of my wife..........."the referee was bad but that performance makes me embarassed to be a Caley Thistle supporter" I said last week that, regardless of who we were playing, we need to perform. I say now, and I hope there are players and coaches reading this, this team needs a damn good shake. Perform well and get beat is acceptable. Perform bad and get hammered is not. This is the same squad of players who were doing brilliant for the first half of the season. Whats changed now? The manager? The style of play? The tactics?
  5. And we will win it to be one of only two clubs with a chance of the double
  6. County were in the big cup final and if it wasn't for many folk like myself their crowd would have been a lot less. There were nuetrals out that day from all corners of the central belt and Perth.
  7. To the numerically inept thats 9m x6m or approx 29' 6" x 19' 6"
  8. Or cable I always thought it was available anywhere in UK on i.
  9. Someone needs to tell them there's never been an Inverness Caley
  10. Been there once with a Celtic fan. Dont remember iof they do food but there's bound to be a decent burger van close by. Good beer though.
  11. If I were to choose between the two then its the second one for me.
  12. Next Sunday will be the 66th playing of this final and, if we win, we'll be the 15th team to get their name of the trophy.
  13. Considering the LL stand holds 13000 and the whole stadium holds 60,355 that leaves over 47,000 seats for other fans without using top tier of LL. My understanding is that the LL stand is the straight bit and doesnt include the corners. I could well be wrong though.
  14. The way I see it is this. Heres a young lad making an attempt at producing something everyone else has been asking for. When my children attempted something I'd never have put them down if I thought they had failed. I'd coach and encourage. Before you comment it would make sense to think of your own young folk before puting someone down for trying.
  15. Seems like Aberdeen are going to bring their biggest ever support to this final. A support over three times that of an average home match. I wonder where they are all coming from. To be fair to us we look like assembling over twice our average home gates for this one and it will certainly be the biggest ever away support in ICT's history. In light of all the reasons for people not to attend matches in the current climate I think we have to be commended for mustering such a large van for such an important battle. In this the 700th anniversary of Bannockburn it should be remembered that 6000 Scots troops won the day against Edwards 18000.
  16. Naw they've got to stay up next season. Potentially we will be the only proper local derby in the top league. If Rangers get back the season after then the finances would be offset and the crowds would increase a bit I do enjoy a derby game, especially at Dingwall.
  17. Well I'm not there through no fault of mine. SPFL failed to check my calendar before choosing the date. Anyway I've a plan to make our end of the ground look even more full. Fill up the front row. Second row fill every second seat. Third row do the same but staggered so each person is sitting behind an empty seat. Do this all the way back and it'll give the impression that there are more people than there actually is. With the noise I know we can make it'll sound like theres more people as well.
  18. The archives of history.......just like the memories of that episode.
  19. Come on then. Lets see actions where mouth is. Can you do better?
  20. At the end of the day the club needs a shirt sponsor. Someone with a decent sized advertising budget willing to give a helping hand. Tulloch Homes seem to be on the up just now. One Touch support the youth so doubt if they'd come back. What other decent sized business is there in the area? One company that could be worth approaching is Moray Offshore Renewables. They have been given the goahead to build the worlds largest windfarm in the outer Moray Firth. They also have permission for Forth and Tay firths and are very likely to use the Ardersier site for their activities.
  21. My golden lab totally takes after his namesake. He's big and strong, good on his feet, stubborn at times and a bit think at other times. My wife called him............... BREWSTER
  22. Why cross out Scottish parliament. Is that not where Scottish ministers reside? Not being one who understands the running of business perhaps you can shed light on why, if they are a loss making company, their latest accounts submitted to Company House show:- Cash in Bank - £9,968,000. Liabilities - £5,481,000. Assets - £13,854,000 and Total Worth - £76,978,000. Doesnt seem like loss making to me.
  23. Think 6 points out of 9 makes this a decent week for us no? Ask me that question again after the next three games. Kingsmills I'm obviously a half full glass kinda girl whilst you're a glass half empty guy ha ha? Top 6 almost confirmed and agreed a big couple of weeks to come. Bring it on! Not quite girl. We need 4 wins and a draw to be sure of that.
  24. Meanwhile theres a very important quarter final to contend at the weekend.
  25. I dont think the few thousand gained from cup runs is going anywhere near the million you suggest westhill. Considering land costs and costs of providing 4G pitches with changing facilities etc I'd be inclined to guesstimate nearer £3m. I also think we'll be using training facilities at new campus when its completed.
