As yet there has been nothing that states Black has been charged with betting against ICT to win. Indeed the three instances could just as easily have been while he was at Hearts or even Rangers. Maybe the bets were even for ICT to win against whichever team he was with. Until the facts are published then perhaps we should refrain from casting judgement.

May the whole world become ignorant of the dreaded M word and may the sons of Caley Thistle laugh and smile and dance and sing to the future that is our new team.

Graeme Shinnie
Think he's been credited with a good few assists.

Graeme Shinnie
Just realised that Graeme made his 100'th start against Motherwell. He has come of the bench 3 times and scored 2 goals. He's also collected 19 yellow cards. His goals came in 2-1 win over Killie 27th Aug 2011 and last seasons league cup win over Rangers.

Referee for Saturday
Craig Thomson Been in charge of three games this season and dished out 14 yellows. 8 of those at Edinburgh derby. It was also he who sent Raven off against St Johnstone. For those interested in stats, in the last three seasons he has officiated 113 games (including Champions League and Europa). Dished out 409 yellows and 23 reds. In the same period he was in charge for 11 games involving us. Gave us 14 yellows and one red.

1. Didn't Clach choose to be left out of things. 4. How does someone decide whats in or out of town? Must there be houses around it? I take a train into the centre of Inverness and can walk to the stadium in 25 mins. I take a train into Perth and its 45 mins walk. For Easter road its half hour. Same for Aberdeen and the Dundee teams. Indeed I cant really think of a team that is any closer to the transport hub of the town or city they play in.

For the game against Celtic Corals are offering 1/4 for a home win and 8/1 away win. Regardless of what I want the result to be I'd be tempted to place a bet against us winning. Perhaps thats how Black thought of it. He didn't want to lose a game but seen the odds as being very tempting. Or perhaps he bet against his team but also bet for in the same game to hedge his bet somewhat. The gist of this thread is that he done something to influence outcomes for his own benefit but none of us know the facts. We assume he bet on a particular game yet the charges dont state which games. Blacks only charge is that he breached the rules that disallow footballers from betting on matches outwith the approved lists. A rule that many footballers tend to ignore.

Whats done is done and there's no going back now so no point evem pondering it. As for Black, I'd think he's too much a liability to have back. Guaranteed a couple of reds and a dozen yellows a season.
