That means nothing. There are many reasons why those things take time. The main one being organising a time when player, agent, manager and DoF can get together. Graeme signed, Andrew will do likewise. Champions league qualifiers a begging. I'm sure the Champions League Qualifiers comment was said with 'tongue in cheek', but regardless, this season's SPL Runners-up don't go into that Competition. The coefficient has caught up with Scottish Football! For that reason, as much as it sticks in the throat of some, Scottish fans should be supporting all Scottish teams in Europe. Not at all.....we're gonna win the league. Seriously though we have three chances to get to Europa. Finish second or third and its 2nd qualifying round. Win Scottish cup and its 3rd qualifying round. So its all to play for in the march through Europe.

I could have sworn that they announced a new drainage system as part of their SPL improvements

Depends how you interpret 'defensive record'. The optimist in me says we have the best defensive record in the league. We've lost the fewest games.

Celtic may only be a few points clear at the minute, and yes, Motherwell maybe should have taken something from the game but Celtic done what they often do. They hang in and get the winner near the end of a game. I dont believe they'll have anything like a twenty point + lead this season but I do think they'll win the league. I want us to start pulling away from the rest though. Had we taken our chances and made a few of our draws into wins we'd be in that position now.

So nobody can answer my five then

If we are in for a central defender then I think someone will either not be getting a contract renewal or has chosen to leave when his deal expires at end of month. Hoggie was given an extra year to recover but sadly doesn't look like its happening for him.

This is not the first time Arsenal have put a talented youth out on loan to SPL and then made a bit of cash selling him on to a Championship side. Anthony Stokes springs to mind. Sent from Arsenal to Falkirk to showboat him as a seventeen year old then sold to Sunderland for £2 million. I can see similar happening with Roberts.

I agree with a lot that Clacher says. If Celtic hadn't scraped a win today we'd be in third. As it is we're still in second with a game in hand. We do, however, need to stay away from complacency and work hard to maintain our position. A few weeks ago not many of us thought we'd catch Hibs who were flying at that time. Motherwell also started brightly. Both have struggled to gain points in recent games and there's nothing in the stats to say the same couldn't happen to us. Even Celtic aren't running away with it though they have a bit of a cushion. This league is very tight this season and anything could happen. I do, however, believe that the squad have a strong aroma of success and that that will spur them on. The incentives are there and the players are capable. Out of the current squad I could pick out two who could see eurpoean football at another club. For the rest this season is their biggest chance of greatness and I believe they also know it. Yes be elated by where we are but dont lose sight of where we could be.

Except they've been disbanded and replaced with U-20's

1. During our time in Div 3 what was our biggest ever crowd? 2. Which ICT player scored a hat-trick against Aberdeen? 3. What was unusual about this match? 4. Who were the opponents for Alan Herchers testimonial? 5. Since coming into the Scottish senior leagues ICT have played the shadows 38 times and won 19. What is the aggregate number of goals scored in all those games.

I did actually start to compile an answer to Q.10 but, bearing in mind that the question asked for 'best', I couldn't include Vigurs nor Fraser bur I did have Cowie, Rankin, Wilson, Tokely, Munro, Golabek, Hart and Duncan

You're totally missing the point. Why should clubs have to go to the expense of meeting legislation that does not, and does not need to, exist? Surely the argument is, quite simply, that you don't actually need to have a seat at all... never mind one that costs 5 times more and is not being put in so it can be used as a seat since people want to stand!!! They're not going to expense to meet legislation. They do, however, have to comply with the rules of their league in order to have a licence to play in that league. That is where the debate must take place. That is where the fans must lobby the rule makers and protest against the rules. Protest has never happened and until it does the same lawmakers will sit back and do nothing. Its all very well us debating on a forum but until action is taken to get the rules changed then we will continue to do nothing but debate.

The only high tide mark in Dingwall is the one round the neck of each resident.

They don't. The DU fans invented the term themselves many many years ago, long before all the modern Arab/Muslim stuff was even thought of... Something about their pitch being heavily sanded. One of the stories I've heard is that a Scottish cup game back in the early sixties had to be postponed something like six or seven times due to severe snowfalls and frost. Apparantly they decided to hire in one of those machines that burn the tar of the roads to melt this and totally destroyed the grass surface so to try and get the game played DU brought in tonnes of sand and covered their pitch. DU won the game and, it is said, that a commentator or pundit, when describing the game, had stated that "the team took to the sands like Arabs". And that, in support of another thread, is how a Dundee team and its fans got their 'identity'.

First point....Why? They have their own ground. They shouldn't try and pull the wool over the eyes of the authorities. Second point......Why would you feel the need to surf the local news on the subject and then tell all on a football forum? Third point.......The sites your link refers to are Council run sites. There are also a number of sites run by the travellers themselves and a number of caravan and camping sites that accept travellers. The local council run campsite may well be the Longman site but the travellers live all around the Highlands. That all gets away from the fact that the officials are going way over the top in their handling of something the the travellers themselves would see as no more than a bit of football banter between two groups of close fans. I would also add that many of those fans live and work among each other and get on well together till matchday kick-off.

I would say that Dougal also misinterpreted my tongue in cheek comment. I was hinting more at lack of identity around the globe rather than among our fans. We have an identity in our badge. Its recognised by fans of other clubs as well as our own. We have an identity in that many folk around the UK and some further afield know the Sun headline. We have an identity by what we are doing on the pitch this season. We have an identity by being the first team from the Highland league system to reach the SPL. Many of the older fans may not identify with the team in the same way as the younger ones do but in time that will change. Many of the well established teams in the country took many years to create an identity and a following. We are no different.

Alex! CaleyD has read my post right! ICT are looking to sign him on a permanent! Apologies for the misinterpretation

He's postponed his birthday till tomorrow. He wants another farmers scalp to add to his collection.

Naw, he's defensive

Is he another Rasta

Just spoke to my missus on phone and she says very heavy rain in Perth just now. Hopefully they've covered the pitch.

But they wont Don. Not unless pressure could be put to bear. Remember these are the people who made the rules from mis-interpretation of the law and they aint about to admit that. As to our stadium, we may not be able to alter the stands but we do still have low terracing that could be adapted to fit two or three hundred standing safely.

Does it mention a race of people? it mentions travelers Does it??? when you say the wheels on the house you mean a caravan which is related to the people over the bridge Really!!! I thought it was in reference to a house I've seen that has two wagon wheels at either side of the front door. Though I must admit to having never seen them go round and round.
