Why can refs who have a bad game not be criticised for it? So long as it's done in a measured manner. Hughes is one of the most humble managers out there and readily gives credit where it's due, including towards referees, so why can he not make honest critique when it's necessary.
Maybe if refs spent more time taking constructive criticism on board and less time telling teacher they'd do a better job.
Players get slaughtered for bad games. Managers slaughtered for bad selection. Why are refs immune?
