I quite liked the January transfer window thread on here because it brought a lot of speculation and good discussion between posters.

How would you like to see the summer window go? Where should we strengthen? Who should leave the club?

My wish list for next season that we strengthen in the left back and attacking options. Keeping guys like Miles Storey and Owain Fon Williams should be an imperative.

Noticed in in the daily record today that John Fleck is looking for another club. Would be an ideal replacement for Ryan Christie. El Bahkatoui of Dunfermline would be a fantastic addition to our club too.

Hope we get our business done early doors.

Majority of contracts run out at the 30th of June. Plenty time to weigh up some offer but agree we need to speed things up a bit.

Not really.

Simply because we have 18 players on senior contracts and if we sign 2-3 more during pre season as we normally do, after trials, then we'd have a normal operating squad.

The league doesn't start for another month. So again, wait for English contracts to expire and trials to be offered. You seem to forget we have until the end of August until the window closes.

Richie confirmed today there's another 3 or 4 players on the way.

Positive sounds coming from that Inverness Courier article, not only re: player recruitment, but also playing style.

We have a good team available,  just getting the extras sorted to create competition for a starting place.

Very encouraging comments from the manager. Entertaining football and player recruitment being his priorities. Bodes well for the forthcoming season and beyond.

Any link to the article available?

Just seen this on Twitter and caught my eye, even if it's not true, it's great seeing the club being mentioned with a big name player like this. It's from a Russian football agent so make what you think of it but just thought I'd post for others to take a look!

I seen that as well and my first question to myself was 'Why would a Russian agent tweet in French'? My answer 'The player is French'. And that's all I take from it. Probably another spoof account

Jake Mulraney commented: “I’m very happy to sign and can’t wait to get going. I already know Aaron Doran and everyone else I’ve met so far has been great. It was interesting to see the fixtures come out today and I’m really looking forward to the new season.”

Seems Aaron has his contacts too...

Ritchie Foran has pulled a master stoke in getting Jake Mulraney's signature. He will be a fans favourite because he is what you pay your money in for. Lightening quick, off the cuff, direct winger with amazing feet. He's turned down 2 championship clubs to come and play for Ritchie. Top player, person , huge future ahead of him and brave enough to come to the SPL to ensure game-time to progress his career.Best of luck to him .

Kevin McNaughton is the defender on trial apparently.

Pictures on Twitter confirm it is Kevin McNaughton.

Rangers just signed Clint Hill who is 37, so in terms of age it doesn't really matter. I definitely think signing McNaughton could be a fantastic piece of business for our club.

It all comes down to his fitness which, I assume, is why we have him on trial rather than making a player of his experience and ability a straight offer. I agree, he could be a very good signing if fit.
