    • Aaron Doran - Club Legend
Shameful: Thanks to Shane Sutherland, the generosity of friends, fans, former colleagues and opponents, Aaron has now had his operation. However it has emerged that he had posted on Instagram regarding his sad dismissal and treatment from the Board of Inverness CT who have treated Aaron in a similar way to which they have been treating the fans. Let's not forget that Aaron was due to have a testimonial for his service to the club.

    • Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
Firstly; we can confirm the resignation of our Chairman and Board member Ross Morrison. He leaves with our sincere thanks for the dedicated service he has given to the Club and we are indebted to him for his passion, tireless effort and crucial investment in the Club.

We can also announce that our CEO Scot Gardiner has tendered his resignation, which has been accepted by the Board. Scot is now serving his notice and will be continuing to help the Club get through this difficult period.

    • Administration pending unless...
Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”

  2. He seems to have thought of this as a means of getting his dream job at Ibrox, and all of his failed schemes and scams may be seen in that light. They actually deserve each other.
  3. Yesterday
  4. The continuing silence from the club on the important issues continues to be deafening. I for one will not wait until early July and so will spend my money on something else.
  5. I’m afraid both he and you fail to understand what a Trust is supposed to represent………….. for clarity, the fans! What gives the Trust any special rights to be given any information in confidence? Moreover, why is it in confidence??? The Trust bang on about open ness and transparency. Do you think what you describe is acting in that interest??? The Trust are not included in any conversation with the Club / Board to the extent of having any effect. Any info they may get might be to pacify some dissenting voices in order to sell season tickets etc. If you are a Trust member, you would do well to remember that.
  6. Have we signed anyone yet? We haven't got a clue as there is nothing coming from the club
  7. Scotty doesn't counter his own point at all. If the Trust is given some information in confidence, then it has to stay confidential. That information may well be helpful to the Trust in understanding a particular situation better and therefore be able to offer an opinion on a more informed basis. If the Trust then goes and puts stuff in the public domain which has been given in confidence, then you can be sure the Trust will again be totally excluded from discussion.
  8. The old adage of ‘no news is good news’ just isn’t working here. Have we got a goalkeeper yet?
  9. I fear the shambles has gone on too long now and if there is to be some sort of new Era for us to look forward to we need to see/ hear whats happening now, immediately!
  10. You counter your own point!!! What’s the point in telling the Trust, if they dont inform the fan base they claim to represent.? What special right do they have???? They claim to represent the fans , so what they know, the wider fan base should know. If the Trust fears need to be “allayed” as you claim, then as they represent the fans…… all need to know. Nature of the beast I’m afraid !!!!
  11. Been saying for years he's a *** tbh. From the Pixalot and Fan's Forum debacle it was clear he was useless and didn't want any fan engagement whatsoever. I emailed him after 'bald linesman gate' outlining a bunch of suggestions to improve the offering and the awful commentary. No acknowledgement at all. Emailed re the fans forum, same effect, emailed re family events no reply, emailed re kids Christmas parties, guess what? Only in the last few months have I ever had any kind of reply from Scott Young on the SLO email. Hell, fans of various clubs were laughing at us and saying we'd made a massive mistake as he was utterly incompetent wherever he has been (similar to Ferguson). We are generally such a passive support though and even if we spoke up, what avenue would we have? Gardiner set it up so that absolutely everything had to go through him, had no SLO and no present board. Even if we got through to the board they seemed to be besotted by Gardiner for some utterly baffling reason.
  12. I think a lot of fans are oblivious to how he operates . He thinks he’s clever but clearly nowhere near it .
  13. Great to see the message board so active again, but where have all these sensible, engaged and knowledgeable supporters been all these years, while SG was ripping the pish out of the club and the daft teuchters he took the fans to be?
  14. Not necessarily. Some discussions need to stay private until it is time to make them public. Nature of the beast unfortunately. If the trust representatives were - for example - given some privileged info to allay their fears which would allow them to endorse the call to purchase season tickets but might jeopardise the discussions with potential investors if they divulged that info, then staying quiet is absolutely in the best interests of their members. However, the longer things go with silence from the ivory towers (or farty towels if you prefer), the harder it is to believe they were not just sold a ‘bill of goods’!!
  15. My post was in no means a dig towards the Trust. They have been excellent so far.
  16. If they don’t……… they are not acting in the wider interests of the fan base !
  17. If you look at the recent posts from Charles Bannerman and others, you will see that the ST are not in a position to be majority share holders. The Muirfeild consortium, I agree are fragmented within their group, but if push came to shove would unite behind a position. Other share holders do not have a majority sway to influence, unless they got other groups / individuals to align with them. Too many individuals, not enough collaboration.
  18. Incoming - friendlies will be cancelled. Then we'll use league cup as pre season.
  19. It's over a week since we were informed of "hugely positive discussions" and it's less than a week till our first friendly. Yet this last week has provided absolutely no update on how the discussions are progressing, whether we actually have any players beyond the few who were on contracts beyond the end of the 23/4 season. It simply beggars belief that when the club has been so strongly criticised by so many for their appalling errors and lack of communication, that their response is simply to be even worse. It would suggest that the discussions weren't so positive after all. Please, please, please, can somebody tell us what is going on?
  20. Oh dear, I’ve probably given Gardiner the idea of a Status Quo concert at the stadium!
  21. But the status quote isn’t an option. There will either be new major shareholders soon or the club will cease to exist.
  22. Why can’t the Supporters Trust tell us what was said between them and the board? I’m getting to the stage where I don’t trust anyone related to the club.
  23. Would anyone on here as a business individual spend sponsorship / corporate money etc with our current board as things stand ? You’d surely do your homework and see that the current board and ceo are incapable in what they do and have done in the past . Are things going to be run any better / differently after Gardiner goes ? This has gone from farcical to unbelievable in a matter of weeks .
  24. Clach have a new board after a major backer pulled out for next season taking chisholm with him saying he's backing a new project next season.
