You don't just rate players on the fact they scored. Bulvitis wasn't bad today, but Foran and Sanchez were a heck of a lot better on the pitch.

A real hard decision for me really, as even though Rooney got a hat trick, I thought Sanchez was excellect. Went with Rooney in the end. The third choice was quite hard as well, but it could easily have been Imrie or even Hayes, who I thought looked very good when he came on.

Here's how it works....everyone who was at the game gets to choose the people they want to vote for based on their own reasons. Some might base it on work rate, some might base it on goals scored and others might base it on technical ability or entertainment value.

None of these reasons is any more or less valid than the other and even if it was then it wouldn't be your place to dictate the rules.
