I agree, 100%. Surely there can't be many other contenders in this category.

I also think that Johnboy's assessment of all the categories is pretty well spot on. So obviously I haven't had enough to drink yet. Still, the night is young...

Looking at it again in a more sober light, I would probably have Brewster as Midfielder of the decade.

Goal of the Decade - Rankin against Falkirk, a repeat of the Rangers goal, but better.

Player of the Decade - Bobby Mann

Manager of the Decade - Robbo, took us to another level, Pele only managed the lower divisions.

Captain of the Decade - Bobby Mann, he controlled his players around him.

Goalkeeper of the Decade - Jimmy Calder, best we have ever had, his penalty save ratio must be astoundingly high.

I suppose he was right enough - I always saw him more as deep-lying playmaker, rather than an out and out striker.

We could certainly do with someone with his kind of presence in the squad right now.

I'd say Esson is the best keeper ICT have ever had, and should definitely be playing at SPL level....

I'm just worried that someone (like Scumdee Utd) will make a move for him before the end of this month, and any cash offer will be gratefully accepted.
