Golabek off Innes on

Just a moment of madness there

He's a strapping loon Shane Sutherland, he could be a surprise packet this season.

It would be great to see some of the youth team players pushing for starting places this season. I'd almost forgotten about them because of all the focus on the new signings and on whether last year's signings could make the step up.

Many of those youths will have a busy schedule as it is in U-19 league.

Sutherland knows the ground well, having spent 5 or so months on loan...

Not a bad second half display then :_thumbup:

Thats more like it.

What was the Starting line-up and second half line-up?

A goalless game was lifted with 20 mins to go by a goal from Eric Odihhambo.Ronney then scored a good goal and was replaced by Shane Sutherland. Shane went on to score his hat trick in sevev mins. The night was completed with a second from Eric Odihambo.

Positives Shane, Eric and Gil.

Negatives slowness in defence.

Quoting Caleyrule.

Many thanks to Caleyrule for the texts throughout the game.:_thumbup:

6 goals in 20 minutes? Did Elgin City lie down after Eric scored?

Many thanks to all for updates. Much appreciated down here in Coventry 0. :_thumbup:

Any gametime for Milne or Mackay-Steven?

Good point!

Also any sign of Hayes/Foran?

All the answers are in this topic:symbol_arrow05:

Neither Milne or MacKay-Steven were at the game all subs came on apart from Tuffey

No sign of Hayes or Foran not even in the crowd

No changes at HT

No sign of proctor either.

Just to mention that shinnie had a cracking first half. Well done shane on his Hatrick.

I agree about Shinnie. I think he's been excellent these last few games. Very nippy.

The defence was alarmingly static at times...

I thought Sutherland got a hat-trick too, but I see the Courier (on Facebook) are saying one was a Wilson o.g. Not from where I was standing, it wasn't.

Rooney's goal was fab ~ hard-hit, unstoppable.

First half was dreadful, plus I thought I was gonna freeze to death. (July in the north of Scotland: Dani Sanchez must wonder what the fug is going on.) Second-half clearly things improved, big-time. Even the rain relented, and the sunset on the drive home was sublime.

All in all a good night. Can't afford to have too many 45 minute spells like the first-half though. We'll be slaughtered.

(Richie, Richie, wherefore art thou, Richie...)
