Hearts game - manager of the day

Any idea who's in charge of Hearts for this?

Ribovas - no, gone back to Lithuania, back in December

Malofeev - gone, with a touchline ban if he comes back

McGlynn - to Raith Rovers

Ivanauskas - won't answer his phone

Any bets on Romanov snr or jnr being in the dugout?

???

Well, whoever it is, we owe them a stuffing for what they, undeservedly, did to us at Tynecastle. Whay goes around comes around. Get it right up um ICT.

There can be no better time to do it. Dressing room in uproar, no idea who is 'officially' in charge, Romanov unlikely to be there in person to pick team, Pressley Hartley and Gordon totally cheesed off, one half of the squad unable to communicate with the other half .......

we shouldnt be complacent as Hearts are still a decent team despite all this but if we concentrate on playing a decent game of football then we must have a **** good chance of a decent result.

Haha! Hadn't seen that story in the Record, was looking at the BBC story about Ribovas. I'm sure the Hearts players would normally be capable of organising themselves reasonably well, but with Pressley seemingly out you wonder...  guess it comes down to what the tea-lady thinks :001:

Valdas Ivanauskas will not be there because he is preparing for his court case. Suggestions that he would be driving the team coach as opposed to driving the team as coach have been descrided as unlikely. A driving ban in the UK does seem more likely than an appearance in the UK.

The big question remains whether Vlad will turn up to back his players. It would be even more interesting if he donned the tracksuit and spent the game in the technical area shouting obsenities at the fourth official only to discover the SFA had pulled a fast one and given that job to their only Russian speaking referee.

Regardless, we desperately need to start winning points again.

The Scotsman says Malofeev will be there before his touchline ban kicks in the following week.  The comments from Paul Hartley later in the same article could see him demoted as well.  So step forward 'Captain of the Week'.

I have a suspicion that Romanov's immediate plot is to destroy the morale and careers of the Scottish internationalists to deplete Walter's squad and give Lithuania a better chance of beating them in the next Euro 2008 qualifier.  Andy Webster excepted he can then sell on the players and bring in even more Kaunas players on loan deals.  Then he gets their coach across to run Hearts into the ground.

Its the kitlady's turn in the dugout this week.

Hopefully all this turmoil down Gorgie way will be to our benefit.

Fingers crossed anyway  :014:

Surely in these situations, isn't it always the club caretaker who takes over the reins!
