Have we noticed we do well when covered by the Gaelic- any good gaelic players we could sign ? (son of rasper?)

  • 2 weeks later...

According to both BBC and SPL web our game at Motherwell on Saturday is on BBC Alba on Saturday evening at 5.30pm. Here's hoping Ten4's comment above is a good omen.

Thanks for the heads up I usually keep an eye out for the fixtures but have been so busy of late I forgot to check. I usually check the SPL too http://www.scotprem.com/content/default.asp?page=home_Fixtures

Neil MacDonald was on Caley Thistle's books for a while in the early years wasn't he?

Richie Foran can speak it - the Irish version anyway.

I must be thinking of before ICT days of Donald `Rasper` Macdonald from Lewis for Caley- his nickname I`m guessing was because he had a

really good hard shot ! or had some impediment at school with his tongue !!

lasted about three minutes....cant watch it

swapped to the dambusters on itv4

can we play on bbc alba everyweek? undefeated this season whenever they are there i believe

Can I just explain that the reason why I looked like Billy feckin No Mates at the end was becos I was too fecked to run down the front to high five Gregory Tade - and I had to do with Riley instead !!

Rasper was in the same class as Mrs Mantis at the Nicolson in Stornoway (there's a photo of him on my site http://www.caledonia....uk/players.htm away at the bottom). Neil got a run in the team in div 1 around 2001.

Mantis... put me right on this. Neil happens to be a former pupil of mine, but was Rasper his dad?

Pretty sure he is, but not 100%. To my shame I never recognised Rasper the day I took that photo but he was with Roddie Davidson. Neil was playing that day though, so stands to reason.
