How old is hastings now? Must be mid 30s?

I thought he retired a few years ago. He went back to Canada and set up an academy IIRC.

35 to be precise.

Well.......i can see no reason why he couldnt go on for a good 5 years in the HL. He strikes me as a guy who likes to keep fit...so i caan see him going for a few years yet at that level.

Just found this on YouTube. Heard about it many times, but I'd never actually seen it I don't think -

Best moment is 1:11 - "Oscar Perez is stupufied!"

So I wonder what day job theyve found for this latest signing? Shipping 3 at Wick then 6 at Nairn sounds as if they need a descent defender tho. What about all the "big signings" theyve got in there already?

Playing left side centre back and getting job with main sponsor. The "big signings" (apart from Golly and Harty ) are only big in their own minds

Thanks for posting this. Likewise, I had never seen it - and what a good goal it is too! One of our best players ever IMHO and one who never really got the recognition he deserved.

   Good job he slipped as he was going to kick the ball, he normally hit the back of the stand.

A wee bit harsh maybe, his first spell with us was fine, but after being infected by the gudgies he was never the same.

There was an interview with him in the Motherwell programme from a few weeks ago.

used to live next door to the guy when i was 6/7. nice bloke, and would let me play football with him in his garden. his brothers still live here as far as i'm aware

The term post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSS) is used to name a range of symptoms you may develop in response to experiencing a traumatic event, which is outside of your normal human experience.

RICHARD HASTINGS
