The Pitch Invasion

No-one else amazed that the longest and most elaborate/affectionate pitch invasion that I have ever seen went completely unheeded by security? Maybe the guy was just too big to take on. I, for one, am going to start wearing my running shoes to games from now on................it looks like great fun!

He was about 8 years old.

I seen I photo on twitter from a saints fan from after the game of security talking to the kid but he was like only 8, so what else are you going to do.

Apparently he was so upset about the flag he had to get to his mum as quickly as possible for a cuddle.

Ha ha Fraz! Maybe I'm an old fashioned parent that believes 8 year old should be supervised?

In some ways it was good old common sense but regardless of age, it sets a precedence. We should be awarded the points by default to prevent clubs allowing this to happen in future and for supporters, no matter how old, to make goal line clearances.

Rumour has it he belongs to a St J staff person.
