Seemingly Aberdeen have lined up defender Alan Tate from Swansea City on loan until the end of the season and Celtic are after Fletcher from Sunderland for £6-8m.

County also keen on Kiss from Cardiff City - think I saw a photo that showed him in the away dugout at the derby game. They have already brought in one already as we unfortunately know.

Making a move for Magennis seems like even more of a shout now.

Reckon Rooney and Vernon will be top two choices. Zola wont get let go this quickly. Magennis is a solid unit, he knows Billy and his contract is expiring...its the smart move.

St Johnstone have signed Chris Iwelumo

Wonder is that as cover if they sell Stevie May

Fraser Fyvie sings for relegation fodder managerless Shrewsbury Town, rather than European chasing Aberdeen.  Criminal lack of ambition for early money.

Celtic have confirmed Stuart Findlay and Bahrudin Atajic join Morton and Shrewsbury on loan for the rest of the season, i wouldnt of minded Atajic up at the TCS.

Alexei Eremenko has resigned for Killie.

John Baird has been released by Partick Thistle.

Adam King has signed for Swansea.

if Killie get Eremenko back to his best he will be an asset to them.

He's a terrific player, I agree.

Josh Magennis has signed for St Mirren on Loan.

You'd mentioned him a few times, eh. I didn't realise Aberdeen would be willing to loan him to a rival club. Yeah, times running out to get another striker in - if that was the plan. I wonder how active we've been behind the scenes?

Yogi's maybe happy with the squad we've got, which is fair enough, provided we don't lose anybody before tomorrow night!

Roughi has it one. Magennis would have been ideal. Even on loan.

Are people seriously suggesting we should sign Josh Magennis?!

I thought it would have been a decent move for Magennis to come to Inverness rather than St Mirren. I think that Magennis has good potential but he is at the wrong club in Aberdeen, the lack of game time is probably telling on him. I read today that Magennis has only made 18 appearances this season and 17 of those have been from the bench.

Yogi could easily adapt the tactics to accommodate a second striker for support for Billy and I thought Magennis and Mckay would have been a perfect match.

Hearts have signed West Ham striker Paul McCallum on loan.

Aberdeen have signed Brentford right-back Shaleum Logan on loan

Magennis would have been a realistic signing in terms of the type of striker we require and availability - so from that point of view yes, it was a real suggestion.

Celtic midfielder Dylan McGeouch has joined League One side Coventry City on loan until the end of the season

Mark Kerr has being released by Partick Thistle

Ross County have signed Erik Cikos on loan from Slovan Bratislava.

There's no question some of thier loan signings are good however you wonder just how good a manager Adams is in terms of signing a decent player when all his new lads seem to have been shipped out or frozen out and now they are quickly scrambling to get another five or six folk in on loan to try and survive. Works in the short term but not great long term planning on the pitch.
