very good idea

Maybe we didn't include more youth players against Aberdeen because of this game...

Also, I see ICT keep referring to the opposition as 'Banks of Dee'.  That's not the club's name.

We now have information and communication from the club after months without.

I don't think we can complain to much about one surplus letter f.

Good luck to the youths today. Time we had a good run in this competition.

The name of the club is Banks O'Dee not 'Banks Of Dee'!  Arrgghh!

3-0 half time.

Great performance from the youth team, definetly some prospects there!

Yes, that's the joke.

Daniel Hoban and Ally Stark are the oldest players on for Caley. I think they're both 19.

Hilarious...

6-1 FT

Think it was 6-1...well done to the lads, entertaining & well organised display..

The hilarious part was everyone thinking he was serious.

Anyone got the team lines, goal scorers, when the next round is?

 Yep. the times they are a'changin!

But remember, our youths' team  went South to Spain or the Argentine recently and won the cup for goodness sake. The looked strong and in control on the videos.Very calm and impressive.:clapping:

THIS IS THE ONLY YOUNG TEAM WE SHOULD BE SUPPORTING.

FORGET THE NUMPTIES IN THE STANDS.

The next round is against Forfar. The starting line up looked like the full time U20 players, but quite a few school aged-looking subs came on for Caley as the game progressed. No team lines tweeted,  unfortunately, and no announcements at the game. I thought I recognised  Daniel Hoban (gk), Alasdair Stark (captain, RB), Mitch Foy, Ryan McRitchie (CB), Aiden Wilson and Kieran Chalmers (centre mid). Andrew Macrae was at the game but not changed, so presumably still injured. Given it was the first time they must have played together, I thought they did well.

Dan Hoban,Alistair Stark, Ryan Macritchie, Logan Johnstone, Cameron Harper (17s), Jack Brown (17s), Kieran Chalmers, Daniel Mackay (17s), Mitch Foy, Aidan Wilson, Keir Smith.

Subs: Roddy Macgregor, Ryan Fyffe and Gabe Hastings all 17s.

Goals im told were:

Foy x2, Chalmers, Wilson, Smith and either Johnstone or macritchie for other. All subs used.

Is Gabe Hastings any relation to Richard?

Yes. Richard also coaches the 17s at the club.
