Just on Twitter that Coll Donaldson has signed a 2 Year deal...great news!!

Fantastic!... I enjoyed letting the guys in my London office know about this. They gave me a slightly bemused response!

Excellent news.  There were some on here who were less than impressed when he was originally signed but he has proven to be an excellent signing and should continue to improve.  Having some solidity at the back is key to getting some positive results so it is great that Robbo and the Club have got this bit of business tied up before the January window opens.

Yes, I haven't seen him 'live' yet, but hope to early next year.  From most accounts on here he seems to be a good acquisition and well worth worth the contract he has just signed.

I'm beginning to get just a bit optimistic about the rest of the season.

Ach, Caman - you beat me to it! Was just going to say that myself...believe Brad's deal is up this season? 

Would be great to get the other half of our central defence signed up for the long haul too..strong foundations & all that..

Lets hope his improved form is here to last, failed to impress at previous clubs but has clearly improved recently. The security of a loner term deal hopefully doesn't allow complacency and reverting back to what was seen before.

Maybe he just needed the right club/manager..hope so

Great news!! Coll has been a revelation at the back and a two year deal is far beyond my expectations and great news for all concerned! 

Great news about Donaldson. We needed some stability at the back and he has supplied it. There are some players who excel at certain clubs, and maybe he has found his. Let's hope that more step up to the plate when they see that contracts are there for good displays.

Best bit of business so far this season. For me he's been our best player in nearly every game he's started.

Really pleased about this.  It's ben a long time since I've seen a new player look so happy when we score or so crestfallen when we lose.  He works hard and shows great team spirit.
