  • Game ends in farce. Definite penalty. What a dick Vigurs is!

I would hope with a post like that you are more embarrassed than Vigurs will be for his penalty miss?

How excited is everyone about this? I'm struggling I have to say.  Strong team............hope we put on a good show for the legions of Alba followers. Hats off  to any Irish folk who made the trip.

Disappointed not to see Doran but confident about a result.

Pitch is utterly shocking. A complete embarassment.

It is persisting down, the attendance is shocking as expected, the pitch looks terrible BUT Oakley pings it home after Polly was allowed to run 50 yards unchallenged down the middle.

Well they are direct, they are positive, they shoot on sight, they have a long throw expert BUT they look awful defending. We are playing three up and the sooner we start feeding Mulraney the better.

Oakley - ye Oakley outp[aces the defence out wide and crosses to the sweet left side of Chalmers forehead and it is 2-0. This could be a massacre.

Polly strolls through again and the sweet left foot of Chalmers must have got bogged down as he should have added another

We need Daniel MacKay on to give more polished finishes to half chances being created.

Yet another chance goes begging. The keeper should have had no chance from Oakley's last shot.

Make that 6 - Mulraney in miles of space - Great save but Oakley should have netted. And then Polworth probably should have side footed one in. Goals and Byes but lets not let them get back into this. They must be knackered and surely we will steamroll them in the last 30 minutes BUT lets just get the third - and just before half time would be perfect.

Mulraney!!!! Should have killed them off. Did with the next effort though.

Mulraney WTF - best chance of the lot on 41 mins. Calder looks great going forward but I would hook him as he looks a cert for a red card and the wee man Heatley has the beating of him. BUT Polly runs again unchallenged through the middle and Mulraney takes the easy route this time. When is the final ? And put a bet on 7 0r 8 zip

Never knew that Barry Wilson knew Gaelic - He has been asked to summarise the first half - "Crusaders - dè an t-inneal a th 'ann"

Belfast Brigade - Please tell me that this is not their norm because we are simply miles ahead.

Pleasing first half.  They had a decent start but it's as comfortable as I had expected.  Polworth has been outstanding but thats partly a reflection of Crusaders naivety.

Well, when did we last get 3 goals before half time?  And it should have been more.  Crusaders are just shocking at defending, but they look quite sharp up front.  Not afraid to shoot, and could have caused us problems if not for the two early goals.  Same again in second half please.

Thought Vigurs was class in that first half and as said, Polly has been excellent, his driving runs and threaded passes causing all sorts of problems. Still a bit of work to do as they are not feart to have a go.

Not convinced by our defence. An early second half goal by Crusaders would make it very competitive.

Apart from a few squeaky moments a walk in the park really. I wouldn't mind a pre-season friendlies with them and others in Belfast. It's a great place to visit and would be a nice change from the Highland League teams we play.
