Should get out later today. Still got some tubes in which I will have to deal with at home until they come out in the next 10 days or so but feeling reasonably ok and ready for some home comforts. 

Passing on my thoughts as well Scotty, fingers crossed that the op has been successful and further treatment, if required, is minimal.

Having gone through similar circumstances with my Mum last Christmas/New Year, I know it can't be easy  however it is so much different for each person, hopefully you can enjoy Christmas and New Year and let your family fuss over you tremendously.
