ICT Feeder Club

I’m not on CTO much these days mainly due to the soul destroying happy clappers but there are some amount of melt downs on Twitter regarding the move of Joe Chalmers and rightly so IMO.

It appears now instead of being a feeder club to Aberdeen for years which I could grudgingly accept, we have now an  unhealthy allegiance with County(Draper,McKay,Vigurs etc)and this certainly doesn’t sit well with me and many others.

Its quite frankly not good enough and it is bound to have a detrimental effect on the purchase of season tickets for next season.

It clearly shows the so called guardians of our club have very little or any ambition on returning to the top flight.

A club from a city with a population of nearly 100k bowing down to a club from a village that has 5k  sounds absolutely ludicrous but that’s what’s happening and only highlights this new worrying trend.

  • £200 extra a week (minimum) to play at a higher level and not have to uproot yourself from the area? It's a no brainer really for the likes of Donaldson and Chalmers to move OTB.  It's absolutely

As we're on about transfer fees, what was the actual fee for Coll? We get a decent 6 figures or did we sell him for peanuts as per?

It's a tricky subject the contract length. We were very cautious for a long time and as a result lost players on longer deals. Then after some success with Hughes we began to offer longer contracts to bang average players on decent money which then has scuppered us somewhat financially after relegation.

Ryan Christie when he hopefully moves on will recoup a very large sum for a club of our size.

County have wasted plenty money or lost decent players on expired contracts just like we have. They aren't a particularly good comparative example to prove a point.

They're no great in the transfer market County but defo done a lot better than we have in player sales anyway nxt 1 be the striker Ross Stewart heard it here £10 on him going to Aberdeen
