Full time. Massive 3 points for us today.

Now on to a tough game next weekend against Ayr

Dundee equalised in the 92nd minute and QOS scored the winner in the 93rd minute ??? keeps distance between ourselves and Dundee

Yes, very satisfactory.  Up to second, at least for a while.  Plus, 3 clean sheets in a row.  Much better.  Carry on the good work lads.

Great result. Be really good to do the same next week ??

Just about defrosted...

Much better performance from us compared to recent horror shows against Arbroath and sub par showings in the Clyde and Dundee games. Alloa played some good stuff in the first half as well and were unlucky to find themselves two down at the break. Slice of good fortunate for the opener. The ball was lofted towards the Alloa goal and MacDonald burst forward coming to claim it but one of the Alloa defenders clearly thought he was still on his line and headed it over him and it trundled into the net.

Second strike was a lovely goal. Rooney crossed for White and he knocked it back down to Doran who lashed the ball into the net from 10 yards out. Great finish right on half time to put us firmly in the driving seat. Keatings and Doran had other good opportunities in the first half to put us further ahead before the second goal game but Alloa also had some good chances as well. Couldn't see who it was (maybe Flannigan?) but Ridgers had to look sharp to hit a well struck effort over the bar.

Second half saw Dick sent off when he lunged wildly into a challenge on Keatings. A deserved red card followed and with that the game petered out. Prior to this we had looked likely to add to our lead but once Alloa were down to 10 men the game fizzled out. White had perhaps the best chance when he headed over from a Doran corner.

Good performances from the likes of Doran, Carson and Tremarco today. Alloa, as I say, were perhaps a bit unlucky. They played some really good football at times and created some reasonable (half) chances. Good to see us being the clinical side for a change.

Full review in the morning but let's just say that the performance was both satisfying and disappointing !! We mainly controlled the first half but Ridgers saved us twice from going behind, the own goal was unbelievable but our second as good as we have scored this season. We really should Have thrashed them after they went down to 10 but we went tippy happy, neat but they could have got back into the game. We always looked like winning but never really took charge. Fair play to Alloa as they are full of running, try to play football, avoid the hoof but thankfully have no end product. They will take points off more teams this season. Carson was my MOM, Doran was close. And let's not forget another clean sheet. Satisfying but could have been exhilarating.
