Pars Singing Section _ Bring it on.

About feckin time we built this up. All you cnuts who bellow at the away games should be up fer this. Lets twirl the feckin scarves and have a rite good craic and sing song. Full Highland dress fer me and quite a few swallies in the Innes to get the vocal chords ready and the feckin disinhibitions gone.

This could be our chance to impress so lets go laldy. Who's moving seats to participate ?

I'll be there in my kilt with the Highland March crew, plus 6 others. Looking forward to a great atmosphere... fingers crossed.

Away games are now so quiet that you can actually hear the sweeties being sucked....we need a singing section at away games now so the six of us who want to sing can stick together  :007:

IHE

I would have joined you for that pint - been in the Innes many times over the last few years.

Unfortuntely now that all away fans (except Buffy I noticed a few weeks ago ;-)) are banned I'll need to take me and the bairns custom elsewhere ;-(

Shocking decision Mr "Owner of the Innes"!!!

Incidently, what songs are we singing?

To be fair, it is aimed at OF fans more than anything but you can't have 1 rule for 1 and not the other.

Aye you can.......they are "very different" remember ;-)......and he's already got one rule for some and another for others.

I hope local pubs in Dunfermline don't adopt the same silly attitudes..... seems decisions like this take enjoyment away for fans - the few pints in there before the match were an integral part of the weekend.

Incidently, what songs are we singing?

sing absolutey anything! every caley jags song you can think of :001:  i hear some lads are thinking about singin sloop john B by th beach boys  :015: it might seem stupid but it is a catchy song n if it means we'll get a decent atmosphere then im all for it :021:

Sounds a bit poor to me, though I don't know the facts. Did they actually refuse to let you in, or was it just the notice on the door?

I think Colin had a problem with vandalism by Midden fans a few years back, but I always reckoned you were allowed in if you were subtle about it (ie hide the scarf under the jacket till you had your first pint in your mitt).

are u coming up for the game and th sing. section mantis??

You've heard about me being a sweetie rustler then  :015: :015: :015:

If I come that's where I'll be sitting all right. Have to decide tomorrow when I find out who's travelling up, and whether it's worth 70 mins delay each way at the FRB. Almost worth getting the train over to Fife and travelling up with the Pars fans  :015: :015:

Yas have to get well pished beforehand or yas will be ejected. Sing every feckin song ya want. Its party time. And there aint no choirmaster - we are a feckin choir of feckin revellers. Every man and wummin fer themselves. Bring it feckin on.  :011:

We come on the HMS Sneck

Lying drunk on the deck

Around Inverness town we did roam

Drinking all night

Got into a fight

Well I feel so broke up

I want to go home

So hoist up the Sneckies sail

See how the mainsail sets

Call for the Captain ashore

Let me go home, let me go home

I wanna go home, yeah yeah

Well I feel so broke up

I wanna go home

The first mate he got drunk

And broke in the Cap'n's trunk

The constable had to come and take him away

PC Barry Stone

Why don't you leave me alone, yeah yeah

Well I feel so broke up I wanna go home

So hoist up the Sneckie's sail

See how the mainsail sets

Call for the Captain ashore

Let me go home, let me go home

I wanna go home, let me go home

Why don't you let me go home

(Hoist up the Sneckie's sail)

Three cheers fer the HMS Sneck.

the youth of today....

:001: :004:

IHE that is actually classic mate  :001: :021: lol im well up 4 singin it!! well mabe only th chorus since its a weee bitty too long lol

i remember when celtic used to hand out leaflets with the lyrics to you'll never walk alone printed on it so that the new ones new exactly what it was they had to sing. since they stopped handing them out there is a **** of alot less noise when they start belting it out.........

I'm going to come and join you on the grounds that if I don't I will just regret it ..... plus it sounds like FUN!!!  I'll be on my own unfortunately, as I've met very few of you.  I'm probably not very qualified to comment as this is my 1st season actually coming to games but I too have been stunned by the lack of home crowd response.  I may not be an expert on the game, I may not be an Invernessian, I may not know all the words even, but I'm quite willing to stand up and be counted when it comes to making a racket and coming even close to drowning out the away support!  Hope the sun shines and we pack out the singing section!  :015:
