I remember this guy from his Elgin bid. He is in cloud cuckoo land.

He said yesterday his aspirations for Caley Thistle were very similar to those proposed for Elgin and included building a ?10 million training facility and a closed roof 20,000-seater stadium to encourage supporters to turn out in all weather conditions.

With the right investment he predicted Caley Thistle could be one of Scotland's top six sides within two years

Is there some way we can exploit this idiot MacGregor without losing control of the club?  I quite fancy a 20,000 capacity indoor stadium myself.

Trying to recall some of the info that came out when he put in the offer to Elgin, and from memory he disappeared and refused to meet the club in person at the mention of "background checks".

Part of his proposal for Elgin suggested that clubs from all around would flock to use the state of the art training facility...He mentioned teams from the SPL to the Highland League....apart from the geography involved....where did he expect HL teams to get the funds to hire such facilities!!!

Aside from the fact that the guy doesn't have so much as a toe in the realms of reality, I don't think his current businesses are conducive with the operation of a community club.  Like it or not, the church is still very powerful in and around Inverness and I think any involvement with this guy, regardless of anything else, would put a serious dent in our customer base.  Backward thinking perhaps, but reality all the same.

Apparently this guy owns shares in Red Bull New York but I don't think there will an 20,000 seat indoor stadium in Inverness anytime soon.  Obviously this guy is a bit of a nut and apparently life-long Rangers fan.

Maybe I'm being a bit cynical but its worth pointing out that the security and sex industries are synonymous with supershadyness. You hear about it in Glasgow a lot.  He "claims to have provided security to celebrities, royalty and US President George Bush".  Bush is the biggest feckin crook of them all!!  I wouldn't put that on my CV.

I think what your really trying to say is that you disagree and the fact that 7500 turn out for Sundy fixtures against the Old Firm would suggest that this isn't that big a problem for people?

The OF don't make for the best example at TCS, but if you look to their own grounds for Sunday Fixtures you will often see huge empty areas in the respective stadiums.
