Zander Sutherland.

Where is he from? It was my understanding that he was a local lad, but my pal assures me that he is another Aberdonian.

Anyone?

He's from Wick according to Wikipedia.

Wrong Sutherland TCF. Alexander Sutherland, one of our youth players, came to us from Wick Academy. Not 100% sure but I think Zander could be from Huntly and was part of the Elgin youth setup before CC brought him to Inverness.

Wiki is written by ordinary folk like those who write in these forums and sometimes they get the facts wrong so it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

The football stats websites on Google all have him down as a Wicker. Plus Robbie Williamson is quoted as saying 'Borough Briggs manager Williamson told the Wick-born player to express himself on the pitch and his consistent displays helped push the Moray side to the verge of the play-offs.'

The Premium site seems to think he's from Wack as well http://www.ictfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News...1300975,00.html

Alexander Sutherland is Zander Sutherland I would have thought. Is Shane Sutherland not the youth player?

Did any of the youth players get new contracts? I do not think I ever saw a free transfer list.

I thought both Sutherland's were from Wick

om an archive search of HN I've deduced he,s from Helmsdale.

He definately went to school in golspie

Any advance on Aberdeen, Wick, Helmsdale, Huntly or Golspie  :029:

Helmsdale is nearly wick so he would have been born in Wick General probably. Who the feck cares anyway?!

Just for the record Alexander = Zander

He may have been born in Wick but he definitely grew up in Helmsdale, I lived there when he was younger.
