What a load of tosh. I've lived in Aberdeen for almost 40 years and in my experience there is nothing other than admiration and respect for what Caley Thisle have achieved and how we have established ourselves in the Scottish game. I'm in Inverness this evening and left the "Caley Club" about an hour ago. What pisses me of is the amount of "Huns" who still frequent the club and think they have a divine right to loudly bad mouth Caley Thistle fans (in our own domain)and confirm their loyalty to the Boyne or whatever else these bigots pretend to understand aboud 400 years of Irish history which has absolutely feck all to do with the Highlands of Scotland. Seventeen years down the line I get seriously annoyed with these morons who should be supporting their local club and buying thier brats Caley Thistle strips instead of old filth merchandise.5 points

If I were a Morton fan I would be quite optimistic. Morton have not got a good away record in the league but trounced Airdrie in the last round. Inverness are one of the most charitable sides in Scotland when entertaining sides. Beat Inverness, draw Brechin and hey presto off on a Ross County run to the final having just come back from 1-0 down against the relegation battlers. They have the chance to create an absolute crisis at the Caledonian Stadium and we dream of progress at our peril. We were very lucky against Elgin. Morton have some very experienced and talented players in their ranks. A lot may hinge on whether Adam is still at the club on Tuesday morning. Remind me if Grant and Rossco will be eligible to play?1 point

Just going by what they're saying on P&B. Maybe they're being overly optimistic? Or planning to employ the special Sellic FC UEFA Cup Final Seville (biggest movement of people ever in the history of the World) calculator ? Suppose we'll just have to see on Saturday... ICT ticket office sold many for the away end?1 point

There is sooooooooooooooooooo much money swooshing about in the pot (that's crappy red case the chancellor carries, duh) that it's not worth arguing about. The world would be cheaper to run if we all spoke the same language, used the same currency and moved left handed people to their own colony, but we don't do that. Why pick on Gaelic all the time? There are many other things, that cost a lot more that we should worry about. How many kids up and down the UK learn History? Whats the point on that? Why do they need to know whats happened? How many learn music? There's LOADS of musicians already, so we don't need to waste money on that. If we are to get absolute value for every education pound spent, students just need to learn to count to 1'000'000, learn the oxford dictionary, and maybe driving lessons. No one needs anything else, as they can learn it on the job. Anyway, why should MY taxes get spent on teaching people to be a better employment prospect than me? That's backwards.1 point

I think if we've stooped to becoming offended by what others call us then we shouldn't be football fans. After all we've called others some pretty nasty things in our time.1 point

All the Dons fans I ken are quite sound, but they all have mentioned at some point how uncomfortable they feel about large sections of their traveling support. Huns of the North, I reckon, comes from a perception that everyone in the Highlands supports Rangers. I've heard it a few times. I would say Aberdeen are the Staggies of the East. ******, manky, depressing town, ridiculous accents and a tendency to cling to past glories for dear life.1 point

Not heard a peep but in my opinion it would be no great loss i steer clear of this establishment mainly due to some of the numpties who drink in it(the types that have an expert opinion about everthing but in reality no very very little) ICT should sell up now and re-invest in drinking/eating facilities at the ground dougal1 point

It's more like the ICT - Aberdeen rivalry , we hate them and they couldn't care less for us .0 points

So if you thought, as Dougal apparently does (surprise, surprise!), that we were going to lose to Morton, which choice would you make? If I thought we'd lose to Morton I'd have chosen Round 5. As it is I believe this is our year for the final.0 points

Golly is a great first division player. Has he got the pace to keep up with the SPL? I'm with J_7. Will Gillet ever even come back? That's the question...-1 points
