  1. I cant say i'm impressed by the look of the defence so far, TB says he is looking for another defender, now that worries me a lot! he signed a couple of young inexperienced guys, none of them right backs, which means he plans to play Proctor at right back. I'm having nighmares about Rossco, Proc and a young inexperienced defender alongside them, fecking hell!! Proctor is NOT a good defender never was never will be and if TB thinks he will be, we are in the shyte. Its understandable that the management look to the future and bring on young players but the defence needs to be solid and using untried young players is a very serious gamble, which i hope does not backfire.

  2. Which reminds me of the time a few weeks ago when I was behind a muddy lorry on which someone had written "Dirtier than Giggsy".

  5. P&J paywall - yes indeed, a pain in the posterior !!! I used to work for Canada's biggest newspaper and paid content did not work for them, and even the NY Times is struggling with theirs which was heavily promoted alongside the iPad, heck the News of the World also put one in and we all know what happened to them too !!!! Not sure how it will work for a small regional newspaper with limited appeal but I suspect their website pageviews will decline significantly and it will hit their bottom line with digital subscriptions not making up the shortfall. Already unsubscribed from my morning newsletter from them as I cant read more than a paragraph of each story and we will probably remove their RSS feed from our main site as the articles it links to are worthless without a digital subscription ..... Twitter is great ... was not convinced at the start of twitter but our @ICTOnline account (and our Facebook page) all get automatic updates every time we publish a story on the main site and this not only drives traffic to this site but puts CTO out there in the social networks too. The club does have a twitter account @ICTFC which we set up for them along with a Facebook page and the same logic is going to apply there. All website stories will be automatically published to Twitter and Facebook and other content will be added to both as and when the opportunity arises. This would hopefully include all of the uses mentioned above as well as commercial opportunities (sponsorship, hospitality offers, perhaps even some competitions). The account is quiet right now (no tweets) but when the new website launches it should all be good to go. The club are listening to the fans in terms of what they want to see from them online and with the directors and the management team onside and pulling in the same direction in terms of wanting to make the online portion of the business a success, I think people will be pleasantly surprised at the things that may happen this year.

  6. I wouldnt want him here. Its so obvious that he was hoping something more suitable would come along. If your gonna do that....at least try and disguise the fact. Nope....i only want players here that want to be here :)

  7. We all have to rue the day and learn from our mistakes so let's be cautious about how critical we are about him. If Terry thought he could sign him and both parties were in harmonywith an understanding agreed upon about the issues involved (i.e without acrimony) I would suggest that he could do a good job for us.

  8. I wasn't saying anything other than you could equate what you said to any thread on this forum, I didn't say it was negative nor did I portray it as being negative. I just thought it was a rather strange thing to say on a fans forum where the majority don't know the full details on most subjects like this but come on to discuss as fans, that was my point. I totally agree with the decision by the club to retract the offer, he's had long enough to make up his mind, the fact he had to have time to think about it shows his heart wasn't at ICT.

  9. Nonsense, he was MOM against forest, no one could break them down for first 20 minutes then in 10 minutes Proctor broke them down 3 times with his passing and direct running and we were 3 0 up. Fine against Clach, team were rubbish against Livi and he did a job out of position at LB.
