I was at the stadium at lunch time and it emerges that the signing of Hogg and Jones (maybe they'll open a city centre pub together  ) completes the ICT squad for the moment. I have to say that following the addition of these two and Thomas Piermayr this week, there was a very positive vibe down there today - a feeling that this week's additions have really added a sense of completeness to the squad. Obviously it will take some time for this very new squad to weld together but the appearance is that this has started already and will be ongoing. Longer standing (aged 23+ or so) fans will recollect the time it sometimes took Pele's teams to get going at the start of a season (remember the first season in D2 97-98! ) I really don't expect a return to that kind of scenario and I think this week's developments could be quite significant.2 points

New official website is now in "live development" at http://ictfc.com Why "Live Development"?....well, because we still have a couple of things to switch on and one or two bits of information to add for some areas. The existing site at www.ictfc.co.uk will continue to operate in parallel for a little bit, just until we make sure the platform is holding up as planned/expected. We've calculated for plenty of resources and stuff so we don't predict any issues....but this is the internet we're dealing with Please try not to jump all over us for things straight off the bat...give yourself a few visits to get the feel for the site, then we'll happily listen to any critique you have to offer....and set up a suitable vehicle for that to take place. One of the main projects we're still working on, but hope to complete before the end of the weekend, is the player/match stats. This is a project that has been ongoing for years and we're on the final leg of getting it complete. It's taken (literally) hundreds of hours to input all the data so far and the finish line is in sight. The other item near the top of the list is tidying up and revamping the layout of the online shop....again, should happen within the next couple of days. Scotty is taking a well deserved break this weekend, so I'm on my own and will be busy at game tomorrow....so please take it easy on me!!!1 point

That's pretty much everyone needed to replace the ones that left. Grant Munro - Tom Aldred Russell Duncan - Greg Tansey Max Johnson - Ed Baldy? Chris Innes - Josh Meekings Eric odhiambo - Billy Mckay Stuart Duff - Thomas Piermayr Dani Sanchez - Andrew Shinnie Adam Rooney - Gregory Tade Roy Mcbain - Owain Tudur Jones Chris Hogg - Chris Hogg Aaron Doran - Aaron Doran Stuart Golabek and Gil blumenstein really didn't need replaced but can be replaced by young players such as Andrew Greig and Tom Smith etc. Looking very promising this season...1 point

I was hoping for a um.. what do you call it.... a goalscorer! Happy with the 3 signings made this week but we need 1 more up front and we will be fine I reckon.1 point

I agree with this, I no longer have any fears for the defence and all those worries of us in a relegation dog fight this season are now over. We have actually managed to put together a pretty decent squad this summer. Our only weakness now i would say would be upfront but thats purely down to me not seeing Tade or McKay enough. Roll on saturday!1 point

The Smiths were unable to conceive children and decided to use a surrogate father to start their family. On the day the proxy father was to arrive, Mr. Smith kissed his wife goodbye and said, "Well, I'm off now The man should be here soon." Half an hour later, just by chance, a door-to-door baby photographer happened to ring the doorbell, hoping to make a sale. "Good morning, Ma'am", he said, "I've come to...'' "Oh, no need to explain," Mrs. Smith cut in, embarrassed, "I've been expecting you." "Have you really?" said the photographer. "Well, that's good. Did you know babies are my specialty?" "Well that's what my husband and I had hoped. Please come in and have a seat" After a moment she asked, blushing, "Well, where do we start?" "Leave everything to me. I usually try two in the bathtub, one on the couch, and perhaps a couple on the bed. And sometimes the living room floor is fun. You can really spread out there." "Bathtub, living room floor? No wonder it didn't work out for Harry and me!" "Well, Ma'am, none of us can guarantee a good one every time. But if we try several different positions and I shoot from six or seven angles, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results." "My, that's a lot!" gasped Mrs. Smith. "Ma'am, in my line of work a man has to take his time. I'd love to be in and out in five minutes, but I'm sure you'd be disappointed with that." "Don't I know it," said Mrs. Smith quietly. The photographer opened his briefcase and pulled out a portfolio of his baby pictures. "This was done on the top of a bus," he said. "Oh my God!" Mrs. Smith exclaimed, grasping at her throat. "And these twins turned out exceptionally well - when you consider their mother was so difficult to work with." "She was difficult?" asked Mrs. Smith. "Yes, I'm afraid so I finally had to take her to the park to get the job done right. People were crowding around four and five deep to get a good look." "Four and five deep?" said Mrs. Smith, her eyes wide with amazement. "Yes", the photographer replied. "And for more than three hours, too. The mother was constantly squealing and yelling - I could hardly concentrate, and when darkness approached I had to rush my shots. Finally, when the squirrels began nibbling on my equipment, I just had to pack it all in." Mrs. Smith leaned forward. "Do you mean they actually chewed on your, um..equipment?" "It's true, Ma'am, yes. Well, if you're ready, I'll set-up my tripod and we can get to work right away." "Tripod?" "Oh yes, Ma'am. I need to use a tripod to rest my Canon on. It's much too big to be held in the hand very long." Mrs. Smith fainted.1 point

I know he hasn't played for us, but, if we include managers, Terry Butcher Singapore1 point

With the signings Terry has made this summer, along with his ruthless disposal of our native stalwarts, the outcome of this ethnic cleansing is that we can expect to see ICT lining up with Scottish players very much in the minority. I would say that Esson, Tokely and Ross are the only Scots to have a pretty much guaranteed starting place. This is surely the most international team we have ever had, and a far cry from just a few years ago when non-Scots were a rarity. Is this a sign of progress? (PS There's a red dot coming to anyone who comes out with the entirely predictable "It doesn't matter where they come from, so long as they are good enough" blah blah blah)-1 points
