Going to be a long season , thank God for Dunfermline the only team that looks as bad as us .3 points

I could cope if this was just a rant in the same way as Hislops, but his slant actually comes over as a pretty dispassionate analysis of what I watched today. Hislops assessment is right, these guys came across as a buch of journeymen on short term deals who were just claiming a wage. No commitment to the club or the community that supports them. I'df only disagree about Rosscoe because he looked embarrased. Foran was a liability. He is off form, is suffering from the captaincy in the same way that Munro did but has not of Granty's humility. I see no merit in mouthing off at half of your own team when your own performance rates as dreadful. I also don't know how long we can tolerate managerial post mortems that start with "blimey" and claim to not know how it happened. Terry, you should know and you should be sorting it. Just dreadful.2 points

I'm a slightly worried man tonight, looking at the League tables of the SPL and the first division brings me out in a cold sweat despite the fact i'm trying to block the scenario out with some Staropramen The unthinkable is us getting relegated and being replaced by the peg sellers I think i'm right in saying that we have never finished below them in our 17years existence other than the debut season and that was probably due to the jaggies IMO this has the potential to be a dagger in the heart to ICT and something we could take years to recover from, our success has always been built on the fact that we were and always have been the number1 team in the Highlands Whats even worse is the fact that if they did get promotion theres a possibilty they could be playing their home games at the Caledonian Stadium due to their hovel not being compliant for the SPL To be honest I wouldn't mind them getting promoted as the highland derbies will return but certainly not at the expense of us dougal1 point

I've said it before and here I go again. Until we get a decent experienced central controlling defender in we are going to struggle big time. I can't believe how our management team of ex international defenders couldn't see this and continued to attract a load of lightweight mid fielders to the club. All this being done whilst off loading a tried and tested central defender whose new club now top the 1st division. Next week now becomes a relegation battle.1 point

I also feel that letting Munro go is a decision that in my eyes has not been justified. Bringing Hogg back does not count, Hogg was already at the club last season and imo he and Munro would have been a formidable partnership for this season. What Munro and Duncan lacked in skill they made up for with spirit, endeavour and a real love for the club. Im not calling into question the commitment of the players we have just now but it was clear Duncan and Munro were here for more than a mere pay cheque or an avenue to which a move to the Championship was beckoning. Butcher had spoken before about the ugly side of football and how we needed to play a certain way to win games sometimes that wasnt so pritty to watch. They were both key players in this set up and while its been quoted that we aimed to play a different style this season theres no question that the ugly approach suited us well at times and gave us some vital points on the board last season. But really what more is there to say? We can rant about it all we want but they aint coming back. I think the only real answer to the situation is to bring in some real experience in the january window in the heart of defence and midfield. What we need are players who like getting stuck into the nitty gritty side of the game that are capable of shutting out teams and arent bothered about playing the perfect pass or the perfect ball from the back.1 point

It's far too early to worry about the possibility of County playing in a higher division than us next season. Despite a disappointing result today, we are only 5 points off a top six place and County are only 8 points off the bottom. There is more chance of County being 2 divisions below us next season than them being a division above.1 point

4-5-1 formation today if i'm not mistaken with Djebi-Tade up front on his own Now I occasionally get slagged off for being negative but what does that make Terry Butcher and his tactics this afternoon?????? Seems to me the management team set out for a draw today which simply isn't good enough and short changes the travelling ICT fans dougal1 point

realy?? could you be anymore negative?? big deal we lost to spain we also managed to come from 2 -0 down against them at hampden yes we lost but so many countries have struggled to score one against spain never mind 2. we have been cheated out of this euro campaign by incompetetince from a certain dutchsman, when we look back at this campaign thats whats cost us we missed out by 2 points we should have got 3 points against the czechs at hampdeninstead of 1 croatia, serbia, belgium, montenegro, and wales if we dont get 12 points from montenegro and wales that would be disapointing belgium could prove a tough test but is winnable as are croatia and belgium i dont see any reason why we cant go to brazil-1 points
