In reality, how many jobs are we talking about? As has been pointed out elsewhere, the "250" figure seems to have been plucked from mid air and the real figure is about 180....of that there's only about 40 or so full-time staff outside of the coaching staff and players. If players are good enough they will get places elsewhere and if they are not good enough then chances are they would have been looking for new jobs at some point anyway....same goes for coaching staff. If Rangers are stripped back to the bone then there's a good chance that a large chunk of those 40 staff will go anyway...and some will likely be out the door before the club exits administration (be that via CVA or Liquidation). It all boils down to maybe 20 jobs which are of any real concern. In regards to the money Rangers bring in to Scotland....you surely have to be kidding!!! Let's not forget that (win or lose) Rangers have denied the public purse of around £35 Million by not bringing money in to Scotland (UK). They also send a lot more of their income abroad by purchasing foreign players than they spend here. If anything they have a negative impact on the economy. One final thing...How many times have Rangers stated a desire to ply their trade south of the border? Just one more action that shows they don't give two hoots about the Scottish Economy. When all is said and done, there's absolutely no good reason...certainly not one that serves public benefit...why Scottish Politicians should be sticking their neb in and doing anything to try and save Rangers FC.3 points

Also, if we get to the top six, we can all go to Ibrox to point and laugh at the crying fat bigots outside as the administrators rip out the copper piping to pay Kyle Lafferty's wages.1 point

If the full amount (again, I think we're jumping the gun here - no-one knows what the full amount is) means a large company that provides lots of jobs and income goes into liquidation, then yes, we should settle for less. If the situation with tax is lost by the Gers, then HMRC should take a large chunk, so that Rangers will be in no position to make any significant buys. No tax money and no jobs as a result of liquidation is vengeance - not the policy that should be followed. Strip them to the bone, yes. Receive no money, close down Scottish income and put people on the dole in a high unemployment area in a recession? That does no-one any good.1 point

lifted from the bbc but essentially boils down to the last paragraphs http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17063322 kenny cameron been given assurances by the spl and the administrators more importantly to assure them that the money from the game will be paid within the agreed timescales1 point

not excited to see him play .... excited to give him a hard time Doesnt take much for the TFC fans to get on the case of an opposing player, especially Vancouver or Montreal, so plant a few seeds in the minds and it will be priceless to see him turn on the gurn when he gets dogs abuse !1 point

We've all seen the ramifications of living outwith your means and we all know also how tight the purse strings at ICT are so do we really want to see them burst or stretched to the full just because some players may be available? I can see why people are discussing about certain players that the administrators at Rangers will terminate contracts off but tbh honest I see none of them that will either be in our league or will even come upto the Highlands. We are talking abouts players like Laffertey, Papac, Aluko and Healey due to the short length of time left on their contracts and also players like McGregor, Davis, Naismith and Goian due to the possibilty of bringing in transfer money from them. I see no reason for the administrators to get rid of promising youngsters who would be on a wage that would be seen as sustainable for Rangers from now and the future, they need to if they want the club to continue on in the current format set proper foundations down and these players people have spoken about are the very ones that they will probably start these foundations with. Even if they try to keep some of the bigger players I still don't see players like Ness, Hutton and Perry being let go over players like McCulloch and the above. I personally would rather see ICT stay strict with their budgets and push on with the business model they have and not jepordise that for one or two players who we wouldn't ultimately have looked at should this situation not have come around as they would have been outwith our reach. At a time when people are talking about Rangers being extremely stupid and short sighted we would be doing the very same in essence if we broke our own boundaries because of someone elses misfortune and mismanagement.1 point

It's always used as an insult but Castle Greyskull is where the heroes live, i.e. He-Man, Man-At-Arms etc. Snake Mountain is where the likes of Skeletor are based. ...not that it's important - just sayin' that's all....1 point

After seeing the highlights I would give the ref a 1 and thats being kind, for dishing out 2 stupid yellows, The refs must be bankers in their day jobs as they just seem to love helping out the greek crisis whenever they can.1 point

Agreed it's a dispicable crime but what about the players that spit on opponents ? Maybe a 6 Month ban from football grounds should apply to them also .1 point
