  1. Well said, Luke. You are there every game, home and away, and give very sound reviews and comments for such a young person. This forum needs you. Keep it on.

  2. hopefully i wont get told im ''vomiting rainbows'' today the centre backs were flawless golobart and tokely are just brilliant. 6th game in a row theyve played together great to have some consistency. the full backs were pish going forward but at the back were flawless and imo defending should be a full backs number 1 priorty. so pass marks for them the centre midfeild 3 of jones, foran and tansey unlike last wednesday dominated the centre of the park. jones offering the balance with foran and tansey interchaging supporting the attack. hayes- take a bow shinnie- much improved from sunday, grew into the role crosses were into good areas but no one on the end of them and attacked the back post like a winger should mckay- he done what he always does. held up the play brought the midfeild into the game hes a key component to the ict machine now. needs to add goals to his game and he will be perfect well earned point. even game imo we would be chalenging with st johnstone this season for those european places but we arnt 4 points off been mathematically safe now. we have highland derbies to look forward to next season so lets look towards then look into signing golobart on a permanent deal and build for pasteing county next season

  4. When I started following ICT it was good to watch a game and enjoy the event win lose or draw, then you get attached and it hurts a little to fail, even so no team will be 100% successful, I have and still do really enjoy what I believe to be ICT mentality, the we are all in this together players & fans alike type feel, very much like my home club Bristol Rovers who amongst other things have been labelled "Rag Tag Rovers" in the past, but have always been close knit, I find it much more attractive to watch a team who probably will never be the outstanding club but overcome the odds now and again to punch above their weight, I think the club deserve to be in this league and my honest opinion is that it should be good enough to finish at the higher end of the bottom half of the table, to finish in the top 6 would be fantastic and should be the minimum ambition for the club, after that a European place would be magnificent, a proud achievement if and when it happens. As others have posted you should always believe!

  5. I just rememberd Kenny Gillets attempt at a throw in as well! I hope it gets shown on the BBC highlights! He threw his hands forward with the ball but slipped dropped the ball and then landed on the ball. Hilarious stuff and lucky he didn't get pulled up for a foul throw!

  6. It would be great for the Highlands, the return of the Derbies and the general GIRUY to the central belters who dislike travelling North. Well done County I say.

  7. I confess to being largely ignorant of the murky world of business finance but would agree up to a point. Borrowing money is a fact of life and we all do it. A mortgage for instance allows us to live in a house that we could not afford were we not to borrow money from someone else. As long as the business pays back the loan and the interest associated with it then there should be no problem. If one business is better at persuading others to loan them money and is more successful as a result, then good luck to them. That is simply good business. It gets murky when the business is less than honest with those lending the money. If those loaning the money are given incorrect information about the business which hides the level of risk then the business obtains money which it might not otherwise have got. Those loaning money have a responsibility to check the business model they are presented with and therefore it can become a grey area as to whether the lender has just been naiive or whether the business has acted fraudulently. I couldn't possibly say which is the case here other than Rangers are certainly in the murky area of business. And where I would certainly take issue with Alex and would go along with Lawrence is that most of Rangers' debt is not their failure to pay back loans, it is failure to pay taxes which they are legally obliged to pay and failure to pay a variety of other businesses money which is simply owed for services provided. There is therefore a world of difference between being in debt and not paying what you owe to others. Other football clubs may be in debt (and some by considerably more than Rangers) but if their business model offers assurances that money owed can always be paid then we should not be unduly concerned. The point here is that the powers that be should expect any football club to act within the law and to pay money owed to others with reasonable promptness. Failure to do that should result in sanctions. It is right to throw the book at Rangers but it would be wrong to throw the book at any other club just because they have what appear to be rather large debts. Finally, just a thought about a specific debt Rangers apparently have failed to pay. Reports suggest an unpaid bill of £8,000 to the Scottish Ambulance Service. Given what happened recently with Fabrice Muamba and the fantastic attention he received at the scene of his collapse, it seems quite appalling that Rangers have failed to pay them promptly. If anyone at Rangers had a shred of decency about them, they would have paid this small but important debt out of their own pocket.

  9. No rainbows there son, just a hard fought draw against a good side on their own turf. We could have been three up by half time, but the perennial problem of putting the ball in the net struck again. Hayes? I don't know how much more he could have done. Foran brought a great save from the keeper and there were other chances. McKay ran his heart out again, and knocked down a lot of second balls for others. Shinnie was excellent in his advanced role and Tuffey was good when called upon. Rosscoe, I suppose, redeemed himself and to be honest there were few signs of any narciccistic behaviour from anyone today, no attention seeking at all really apart from maybe one previous poster on here who wants to get off his backside and get to some games instead of constant sniping from across the roman wall. tiresome. edited.spelling.again.

  10. The trophies Rangers have won are now blighted, by the fact they were won with other peoples money. So Rangers having wrecked history and ruined the stats of Scottish football with what in blunt terms is cheating can get away Scot free, because all the other clubs need revenue. Any one of us could win the league if we could manage a team with over hundered million spare pounds to spend. I am sure Terry and ICT could.

  11. It could be Tuesday if Dundee fail to beat QoS then. But absolutely. I've been through in Dingwall as often as I can this season and County have - despite the best attempts of Messrs Pressley, MacNamara and Reid to denigrate them - been absolutely superb. This is thoroughly deserved. County have been the best team in D1 by a country mile. Bring on the Highland Derbies!

  13. This, completely. Maybe I'm naturally pessimistic, but I've never really felt this 'belief' thing. Mostly I follow the team because I enjoy the whole ritual of game days, and for those amazing results or performances that sometimes happen. Under Pele, the completely cavalier approach to football was also a big factor for me. I suppose this lack of 'belief' or high expectations is why I never really feel the need to call for a manager's head, although the way we played in the last couple of months under Brewster was an exception. TBH, the team has far exceeded what I might have hoped for when I started following them - I don't think there's another team in Scotland that would have been more enjoyable to support over the past 15-odd years.
