The club "soft launched" their new Official YouTube Channel this week and it can be found at - http://www.youtube.com/officialict This is part of an SPL wide partnership with YouTube which comes in to play for the new season and as a minimum it will bring videos from pre match interviews, match highlights and post match interviews. Work and discussions are ongoing in regards to what additional content it will bring, but it's hoped that they'll be able to get some behind the scenes videos going (training etc), as well as using it as a platform to promote other services and facilities available at the stadium. This has come about rather quickly and it will take a little time to find our feet with it. The approach being taken is one of "walk before you run" and, quite rightly, the club don't want to over commit and create an unsustainable expectation. It may take a few days to get videos up to begin with, but it's something that will be worked on as people get more used to it and more resources are available to support it. What's equally important to highlight is that this service and the shooting of the videos is entirely fan driven...and at the moment that consists of AndyCam being the man who's behind the camera on everything (and doing the editing)...which you will understand is a lot to ask of one person. That will change as more resources become available (more people get involved) and when that happens then all your ideas and suggestions will be most welcome....and we already have a ton of ideas which include fan videos/interviews, giving you the chance to help and feature in this new project.3 points

So the new season is almost upon us, lets all look forward to it with anticipation. We all need to show a bit of patience as the squad gets used to playing with each other. Lets not shout Butcher never should have got rid of Tokley at the first poor performance as remember there were plenty of poor performances with Tokely in the side last season. The new players need a chance to bed in, the new squad needs a time to gel together lets give them the chance to do that. Finally please no "should Butcher go" polls should a couple of early defeats happen. Lets all believe!!!!2 points

From today's Grauniad: "Terry Butcher's methods of recruitment continue to raise eyebrows in the Highlands. The Inverness manager has opted to sign players from such teams as Newport County, Macclesfield and Gillingham, thereby completely avoiding the Scottish market. Such a policy carries clear dangers, given the importance of knowing the environment you are competing in. Prediction: 12th". Ok, so we know that he's a slimy little Jambo who you wouldn't want peeing next to you in the Heathmount toilets, but does Cyril have a point about Terry's signing policy?1 point

I was told that it was his agent who made the final decision. As my old mate WC Fields once whispered to me - Never cry over spilt milk as it may have been poisoned.1 point

I really miss Squirrell and his posts but I dont miss his legal action threats :maniac: even though I would have grassed on Mantis if it did come about. But as Caley Stavros points out the "concern" is shared by many of us and I feel that there would have been even more if they had come on board and/or more finances were available. It is a wonder that Squirrell has not also added that the majority are also carrying long term injury histories. But the initial signs have been encouraging and Midden may also tell us if the leopard has changed his spots. I feel that there is no hiding place and TB may be judged for the first time this season and I really do hope that he brings it off.1 point

Clubs decision, I'd hope that if worst came to worst butcher would take a wage cut, but who knows. That's not for me to ponder and it's up to the board, il trust whatever move they make regarding management, contracts and budgets because whatever they do is in the clubs best interest.1 point

Why is a player who was on trial with us two years ago still being discussed? We start the new season tomorrow with a new team and we are still dwelling on one player who appeared for us a couple of times as a trialist two seasons ago?? Baffles me. No one here will ever know the reasons why Gary never signed for us. There seems to be this sense of injustice that because he is from Thurso that he should have signed for us, just because he is a lad from the Highlands does not mean he is duty bound to want to live and work up here. LETS ALL BE 'CALEY JAGS TOGETHER' AND LOOK FORWARD TO WHAT THE FUTURE BRINGS AND NOT BACK TO WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN. BRING ON THE NEW SEASON!!1 point

I don't know what salary Butcher is on but I believe he is also doing the Director of Football job now instead of Bennett who was getting paid a fairly good salary for it until the club went down to the 1st Division...I still believe that Butcher will be one of the poorer paid managers in the SPL and who ever we got in would be looking for a comparable salary. If Butcher does keep us in the SPL this season whatever he is getting paid is money well spent considering the financial constraints the club are under. I would hope that when Butcher is due a new contract that is decided by what happens on the pitch rather than what he is getting paid.1 point

You're questioning a poster's ability to think, or in other words calling him stupid. Complete over-reaction to him suggesting a friendly might have been played closer to home.1 point

Gordieict, No, hate both. ICT and Liverpool as I have said many times before. Originally of the Kingsmills bias. Just as I have got older have hated them both more and more. Dont worry I slag off both halves just as much, but their obsession with themselves turns my stomach. Just find many of the happenings of the last few seasons laughable. Hate Lennon and the Celtic conspiracy thing Hate Rangers and their Union Jacks and singing. And being of Catholic Irish background just hate anything religion based1 point

Coming from someone who completely fails to comprehend (unless it includes :clown:) sarcasm, subtlety or nuances in any posts, and therefore flies off the handle, that's pretty rich.1 point
