Jaisus some folk can't wait for us to fall and say told you so. When was the last time we sat 2nd in the Premier League for a month and beat both the Old Firm away? So, its tight and competitive, isn't that good? Don't we want every match to count? Anything can happen - great. We've won nothing yet? Nobody's won anything yet.

Everything I've said is true though. If Ross County beat Hearts tomorrow and then us in the re-arranged derby, they will be 3 points between us. Waken up folks.
  4. I'm not convinced any kind of revamp is going to overall improve Scottish football as a whole but it will at least breath fresh air into the current set up. I'm a fan of the 12-12 becoming 8-8-8, For a bottom 4 side it will be great to play a different 4 sides that season. They really need to sort out the pyramid system though, that is key to keeping the game fresh and the sooner teams like East Stirling get relegated for being utter crap the better.

bluesman, believe me on this forum this is positivity. Delve into last seasons posts and you will find that if you mentioned anything half as positive you would get bombarded with sneering comments of wearing rose coloured specs. be patient they are learning.
  6. You will be well looked after, on the supporters bus!
  7. I'll defend the guys here. The more you see them the more you see why they missed. The ball in from Proctor was rollong nicely and then took a huge bobble before it reached Rooney. He was timing his run to stroke it in but because of the bobble the ball reached him later and a ball which was rolling was suddenly in the air. He had a fraction of a second to adjust but wasn't quite able to. He was unlucky. To be fair to Billy, there is some fault from Draper here, he took a bit of a heavy first touch and the ball he played across was firmer than it needed to be. Billy couldn't get to it with the favoured left foot and probably felt he had time to control it with his right and knock it in with his left but the touch was heavy and the defenders got back very quickly in numbers. Clearly he should have scored but having lost the initial chance he then did well to keep possession from three defenders and square it to Shinnie - who also probably should have scored but MacDonald did well to stick out a hand to clear. Anyhow, there wouldn't be this debate if it wasn't for a fabulous ball over top by the much maligned Philip Roberts. The clip is worth watching just to enjoy that.

  10. Currently anyone from 2nd to 11th has a chance of top six. Its that close. Good run from them and a bad run from us and we could end up swapping places, but thats the same for any other team too.
