  1. Well i hope this slap in the balls will wake us all up and stop all this BS about 'getting passports out'!! We're not at the finish line yet and theres still alot of games to be played and we're not as far ahead as we think we are! A week of rest ahead! Up to TB to get the players heads back in order. Hope the injuries are not to bad also. This week will really test our metal and 'togetherNess'. Players and fans need to unite now and we all need to carry each other to that finishing post. Season isn't over! Still alot to play for. Top 6 is realistic but just need to take it one step at a time. We CANNOT get too carried away too soon!

  2. You usually post a lot of sense but this kind of argument is a joke right? Just like Celtic beating Liverpool and us beating Celtic 3 days later..... Or how a mate of mine worked out the other week - Stirling Albion beat Rangers 1-0, Stirling Uni beat Albion 3-0, Whitehill Welfare beat Stirling Uni 4-0, therefore WW would beat Rangers 8-0..... [ ] We went to Darkheid and won 1-0, Cownty went there and lost 4-0. St Mirren hit top form the other night, at least in the first half, but we should have won. Cownty beat them 4-1 because they were dreadful and gifted them goals, on a day that Cownty were well up for it. Just like they're always well up for playing us, but haven't beaten us for over 3 years if I recall. Well done to Cownty this season BTW, but wait till the 'difficult second season!' []

  3. Rename the toilets, the Cownty shed. We could get urinals with images of Derek Adams and Ian Vigurs on them. Should help the kids, and some adults, with their aim. It worked with my kids when potty training, i stuck england flags in the potty. No more wet floors!!

  8. I think this is a real goer, but we're thinking too small. We should look at getting Terry, Mo, Charlie and Rosscoe's faces carved into the Plockton Crags, just like them Merrican presidents

  9. It's incredible how quickly confidence can wain!! I hope TB & MM can lift the team's heads over the course of next week, as there's still plenty to play for and we have to keep confidence and optimism up.

  11. Quizzer, It could be that Terry wants a look at them outwith the league to convince himself that they should be in the squad ahead of those you mention.

  12. Could it be considered to be a bit of a slap in the face to those in squad who took us this far this season - 3 loan players on bench, and the other just signed a few weeks ago? Happy they are there if they are our strongest players, just wonder how it'll be perceived by the likes of Sutherland and Pepper.

  13. Not mess her celery, yngwie. Although I'll expand on your point and say they sometimes turn into a chant for an individual player (or sometimes forum goer). If the club did adopt a song, would it not be 'Caledonia'. Or is that too obvious?

  14. I enjoyed my trip to Edinburgh last Saturday it was a good fan bonding day out. As for the match, level at full time, level at extra time and they sneak through on penalties, even though Macdonald never even saved any. Unfortunately we didnt make the final, it doesnt carry the same interest as the Scottish cup which is a shame because its more of a pedigree cup, you have to be good to reach the semis and we only narrowly missed out on the final, we didnt get humped and beat an ex champions league club along the way. Gretna got to the Scottish cup final without playing against a single SPL club I would say we achieved more than that very nearly getting to the final of the pedigree cup. Back to the Scottish cup run, think about how it felt to earn a replay against Ross County, think about the fans, the noise, the result. Think about the replay, think about the night, the noise, the success, think about the training, the hard work, the diet, the self belief, on the pitch think in the present, think in the here and now, think off how good you can be, believe in yourself and believe in you team mates and finally good luck in the cup.

  15. bluesman, believe me on this forum this is positivity. Delve into last seasons posts and you will find that if you mentioned anything half as positive you would get bombarded with sneering comments of wearing rose coloured specs. be patient they are learning.

  17. I didn't get to finish it in the end... QPR offered me a tenner for it. I'd already had a few bites out of it so thought fair enough. Then I went and bought a baguette and pocketed the change. Winning.
